It’s Friday, National Chocolate Milkshake Day and the National Day of Encouragement. Our community project for today: wear a fragrance that evokes one of Pantone’s picks for the Autumn/Winter 2025/2026 NYFW Color Palette (see image at bottom of post, and if you like, click through to the article and pick your fragrance based on the color name or description rather than the color itself, as in “Damson is an intense purple whose contemporary glamour conjures a dramatically vintage feel” or “Cozy and comforting, Hot Chocolate summons thoughts of decadent indulgence and deliciousness”, etc.)

The three shortlisted suitors? LVMH (LVMHF), L'Oreal, and EssilorLuxottica each with deep ties to the Armani ecosystem and more than enough firepower to absorb the 57 billion valuation suggested by Berenberg analysts.
