British niche line Ormonde Jayne has launched two new fragrances, Bijou Zafran and Oud Liaisons.
Bijou Zafran ~ Probably Nawaf Zaffran renamed? With saffron, pear, cypriol, iris, benzoin, patchouli, musk, mineral amber, vanilla bean and leather.
Oud Liaisons ~ Probably Oud Nawaf renamed? With rose, lemon, licorice, pink pepper, oud, suede, guaiac wood, patchouli, musk, cypriol and vanilla.
Ormonde Jayne Bijou Zafran and Oud Liaisons are available now at Selfridges, £225 each for 88 ml Eau de Parfum.

I was a big fan of Ormonde Jayne when the company was first on the go – a friend & I both had their ‘fragrance analysis experience’ many years ago at their boutique in the Royal Arcade & really enjoyed it – it seems they have gone down the same path as so many other fragrance houses, just becoming more ‘exclusive’, for which read more ridiculously expensive.
Sadly, I think it’s what consumers want.
