Happy Friday! Birthdays today: Eleonora Duse, Pierre Bonnard, Thomas Wolfe, James Herriot, Chubby Checker. Our community project for today: wear a fragrance that you feel is misunderstood or underappreciated, either by your fellow perfumistas or by others around you.
What fragrance did you pick? As always, do chime in with your scent of the day even if you’re not participating in the community project.
It is not the most misunderstood, but Acqua di Parma Iris Nobile Eau de Toilette never got the same attention as the very different Eau de Parfum version (although I do know there are a few fans here). They're both discontinued now anyway.
Reminder: on 10/10, wear a fragrance with nutmeg, if you have one.
And for those of you who like to plan ahead, see Scent of the day ~ Friday community projects 2025, where I'll try (but usually fail) to have the next five or six weeks mapped out in advance.

Hello and tgif!
My goodness, where do I even begin with my sotd Prada Paradoxe Radical Essence?
Here are some direct quotes from Fragrantica: “burnt butter footcorn or mildewy clothes” (FOOTCORN!?), “smells like stinky feet, like vomit”, “like a cheap 5 dollar perfume dupe”, “HORRIFIC! *Insert barf emoji here* Smells like a bag of rotten pistachios mixed with sludge from the run-off in the no-go zone of Chernobyl!”… My girl’s got some serious hate. I actually enjoy wearing Radical Essence. The buttery popcorn and slightly salty and realistic pistachio opening is very fun and enjoyable! This is the best Paradoxe imo and if you haven’t tried it, please do give it a chance.
Brought my pup to the vet for her monthly checkup and the vet on shift today was a handsome young doctor and I think doggo knows because she’s been on her bestest behaviour and constantly gave him the “pet me” puppy dog eyes.
Lol those reviews!
Sounds like your pup is very perceptive.
She is a smart cookie!
Prada Paradox had zero appeal for me. But now I want to check it out, and especially the flanker you mention.
Have fun smelling!
Does your puppy give lessons? I think my romance game needs upping after reading the lyrics to some of Taylor’s new songs! 😉💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻
She is definitely aware of how cute she is and not afraid to use it!
🐶🐶🐶
FOOTCORN?!?
😭😭😭
Sl Miel de Bois for the CP.
Oh my! Spot on..
Yep.
Oh yeah!
I was also thinking about Miel de Bois!
Mic drop!
I think Dior Poison still has a reputation as too much, and I think it’s terribly misunderstood. The style in 1985, in clothing and in fragrance, was big big big, and the two biggest hits of that year were Obsession and Poison, which fit the aesthetic perfectly: they announced you. People did tend to overapply, which didn’t help, but in moderation — a couple of drops of the Esprit de Parfum or a couple of spritzes of the Eau de Cologne, the two best-ever concentrations — it’s a masterpiece. I have a few millilitres of the vintage Esprit left, so I’m wearing that today, and it’s incredible.
This was one of the first proper perfumes I smelled and bought back in the day. I agree it has to be applied with lightest touch. It is a monster, especially in Espirit de Parfum format. I have lots of on hand, but I decided to part with it, because I don’t wear it any more: it is, wait for it, too fluffy and sweet in the dry down. My vanilla hating skin turns everything with vanilla into powdery and sickly sweet mess. I love the tuberose, oppoponax and mostly importantly, the stunning honey note in Poison but in the end, it was not meant to be. The parfum bottle is still stunningly beautiful!
I’m one of those people who really disliked Poison back in the day, but I have come around to appreciate its quirky composition. On me, it is a big white floral grape chypre.
My father bought me a mini bottle circa 1986. He is long gone but I still have the mini. It is not something I wear – now or then – but I like to sniff it and I love the bottle. I have nostalgia for the period.
Insightful and i really like your commentary!
Loved the Poison EdC back in the day, but didn’t like the original bottle. I should have bought it anyway.
My sotd is Chanel Coco Noir, which I kept defending to myself because I wanted it to be a Noir version of my beloved Coco. Once I let go of that perception, then I could enjoy Coco Noir for the elegant fragrance itself.
Is that even anything remotely that can count for points? I found this CP a challenge!
Of course: you originally underestimated it due to not actually being Noir.
Ringthing there’s a larger life lesson there I think that’s about letting things & people be authentic exclusive of our wishes.
Sounds good to me! 👍👍
I am wearing Moon Garden by Strange Invisible Perfumes, advertised as “a luscious, laminating and nocturnal scent of jasmine, tuberose and African resins”. What it means: it contains tolu balsam in its pure form, with very distinctive toluene/benzene/gasoline top notes. Not gonna lie, the opening is very disturbing, with not just the gas fumes but also mentholated tuberose notes, though it eventually calms down to beautiful and fierce floral. It is not Tuberose Criminelle level of crazy, but for anyone used to paper strip friendly fresh top notes, it must be a rough ride. I would quote a few choice words from horrified MakeUp Alley reviews, but sadly, the site has been decommissioned few days ago. I wear it occasionally, because among the tuberose perfumes in my collection, it has to compete with Hiram Green’s Moon Bloom, which is about as perfect tuberose as it gets, but I appreciate Moon Garden’s rugged charm.
Nice call akimon! SIP has a few underappreciated gems.
Not quite sure I under a laminated fragrance but you had me at gasoline! I’m looking for a gasoline/ rich Corinthian leather scent to wear when I go back to docenting at the car museum. Maybe a gasoline scent to layer over my TF ombre Leather
if you want gasoline and leather, then vintage Fahrenheit is your jam! It is very trad masculine though. Otherwise, SIP Moon Garden or Black Rosette would work nicely.
Thank you! I think I would want more unisex. I don’t know what SIP is.
SIP = Strange Invisible Perfumes. They make all natural perfumes, with some rough edges, but stunningly beautiful. Contact me if you want more info..?
Nice to know that tolu balsam has those industrial smelling notes. Thanks to you, I learned something new today!
SOTD Penhaligons Amaranthine. I still remember how polarizing it was when it first came out years ago. The unripe green banana opening probably turned lots of people off from the start. But it does fade away quickly enough to creamy sandalwood with a hint of cumin.
I think I heard of it first through a Katie Puckrick review on her blog — what a personality!
I am among the underappreciators — and not because of the banana — but I salute you.
I always enjoyed Katie Purick, too! Her reviews helped me many times.
Wearing Worth Courtesan today since I couldn’t find Zagorsk. Not too many people wear either. A couple people said that Zagorsk smelled cheap.
Oh, I like Zagorsk. I like pretty much all of the incenses, though probably the next FB I buy will be Ouarzazate.
I like and own Zagorsk, too.
I like all the perfumes in the CdG Incense series. Too bad there isn’t a travel spray coffret of them. That would be perfect.
I’m wearing the a-seasonal SL Bas de Soie. It seems overlooked, and all it wants to be is to be pretty.
I loved my bottle of that and finished it and then discovered it was discontinued. Enjoy it while you can!
Funny, I adore the edt version of Iris Nobile and don’t really like the edp version at all. Should have gone with that for the CP, but instead I’m in Soivohle Paracelsus — just the deepest and most glorious dark red rose ever. Many thanks to our own jalapeno for putting me on to it, and sometimes it seems like we might be the only two people here who ever wear it. Soivohle overall seems to be under appreciated, but especially Paracelsus.
Ooh, I should try it! Adding to my list.
Last time I checked, Paracelsus was still in production at Soivohle, thankfully. Liz Zorn has been thinning the herd quite a bit lately.
I love a good rose fragrance. How prominent is the chocolate note?
My testing notes: “Smells like a spicy cousin to Tauer’s Le Maroc Pour Elle. I’m getting rose, patchouli, and spices right up front. Thankfully NOT getting any tobacco so far. After a few hours a dark chocolate note (or maybe it is closer to cocoa powderto my nose) joins the other notes that I have listed.”
It made my toes curl when I tried it.
I love Maroc Pour Elle and sounds like toe curling in a good way🥰
If I still had my bottle of Molecule 01, I would have gone with that for the cp. I think it is under appreciated, but it was honestly one of my most complimented perfumes. I went through a 30 ml bottle easily.
Instead I’m in LL Musc 25. The only thing misunderstood about this one is the price.😂 Mine is just a sample of course.
I’m currently waiting for the ac repairman. Ours mysteriously stopped working last week and we are supposed to have record breaking temps today close to 90! I’ll say it again, we are having the most beautiful fall with warm days, no humidity and cool nights for sleeping.🍁🍂
I liked LL Musc 25 when I smelled it. It faded fast on me
It was a toss up between Tauer Lonestar Memories and Naomi Goodsir Nuit de Bakélite and I went with the former.
I was going to say that this is the one tuberose I can wear with abandon at home because Mr. allo, who doesn’t care for tuberose in general, likes this one.
But he just came downstairs and asked me if I’m wearing the “Bakelite” and saying that it might be what’s making him sneeze. Grrrr…
Ha ha ha! Mr. Allo is sensitive 🙂
Correct you are!😊
And I’m hoping he isn’t actually smelling the Dropps musty smell repellant. I haven’t exactly disclosed to him that I’m trying it out…😬
Whoops! Maybe your days of sneaking tuberose around Mr. Allo are done? 🥲
Never!😎
Happy Friday to all my scented friends!
My SOTD is so good!! I believe people like it, but I adore it. I’m wearing Burberry Goddess Intense.
Hope everyone has a great weekend! 🙂
Have a happy weekend!
Happy Friday to you, too!
I’m in MCMC Noble today, because it’s right for a slightly nippy, overcast fall day, and because I think the whole house is underappreciated as I rarely see it mentioned.
My main success of the day was buying something unsniffed (which I rarely do!) — I just happened to be up at 7 a.m. when the Fzotic Creosote limited edition went on sale, and I snagged a travel size. Going to have to go down to the local exclave to pick it up, but I’ve done that once recently and it was okay. (Even if he shipped to Canada, with Canada Post on strike I might never get it.)
Ackkk — totally forgot about it. Please let us know what you think when you receive it!
I got a slightly larger sample. Waiting for it!
😉
Argh! I missed the sale, despite getting a reminder from Fzotic yesterday.
I am wearing Chanel No.18, which is underappreciated compared to the rest of the Exclusifs.
Beautiful warm, sunny Fall day. I just finished work to meet a longtime friend for lunch, who is in town for the day. Looking forward to having a nice and relaxing time.
Happy Friday! 🌞
You are so right about Chanel No. 18, I totally forgot about it. You smell lovely.
Thank you, DeniseH! No. 18 rarely gets mentioned despite being a great scent
thanks for reminding me of this one — it’s always been a casual want-to-buy but I never get around to it.
Enjoy your nice and relaxing day!
Thank you, Psfh!
Hopefully, No.18 will eventually be part of your collection.
Ooh, yes. Nº18 is wonderful, and definitely under-appreciated.
I agree. Just wonder why it never got the love that the other Les Exclusifs did.
Hope you had a great lunch!
Thank you, Jalapeno! We had great polish food and a great time together!
I don’t know if it is misunderstood or just forgotten but the original Ungaro by Ungaro fragrance in the blue cobalt bottle with the green cap is my choice for this CP, even though I’m traveling and don’t have any with me. It’s a big late 80s early 90s symphonic spicy giant shoulder pads wearing, well-blended woods and floral with loads of animalic musk. The reviews on Basenotes are nothing like what I have experienced, they call it a light fruity floral, so maybe they are writing about a re-formulated version. Bonus for the pretty bottle.
All the great 1980’s perfumes have been reformulated. Some much worse than others.
Today’s SOTD was a toss up between SJP Covet and Rodin Bis. I ended up in Bis which I think is so much fun, and fairly unusual: Violet, anise and ambergris.
I’m taking it slowly today after COVID and flu vaccines yesterday. Very sore arms and the usual achiness, headache. It’s okay — I’m very happy that I can be vaccinated!
You smell wonderful and I hope your symptoms are short lived🤒
I had a Covid shot yesterday but completely forgot about it until now, reading your post. Hope you feel less sore soon!
Hope your after effects are short lived.
Barenia Intense from a sample…this can sometimes be misunderstood by the wearer because its rich and leather note may come across initially harsh or come across as too heavy or masculine, masking its subtler nuances.
Venting…
Had a horse lesson today, my first one since my seasonal program closed in August. I would say, I never really appreciated my instructors or even the tack, until I went elsewhere. I was so disappointed today when I left-a complete waste of time and money!
Will you be able to go back to the good instructor next season?
yes..in March 2026!
I am going to try a different stable next week..
Wish me luck!
Good luck!
Oh what a shame, I’m so sorry.
I’m wearing SL Fleurs d’Oranger today. I was going to wear Salome for cumin as a much maligned note, but Fd’O also has cumin. I find that it add depth and warmth to fragrances and some of my most beloved perfumes have cumin included as a note.
What a nice choice! I agree about cumin adding warmth and depth. Have a happy weekend!
Fleur d’Oranger is my gateway cumin. M. Lutens won me over to both vetiver and cumin. You smell great!
I’m choosing Tsu Lange Yor Sage’s Rose ( my latest purchase) on account that it’s a “ celebrity” perfume range. The celebrity is Australian singer, Troye Sivan ( whose songs I don’ t know) and I’ve been pretty impressed by his entire range, which he makes in Australia. Sage’s Rose opens as a very candied , sweet rose ( almost sugared….imagine a rose version of D&G Devotion) and the dries down to a deeper, resinous rose that stays on the skin for hours. The rose isn’t jammy ( not like Rose Jam) but more like fresh cut roses ( a modern rose rather than heritage). Anyway, it’s a really good, young approach to rose.
Today we have a heavy rain warning….so we’ve had an entire week of weather: frost it was gale force winds, then snow and now rain. But, two mornings ago I saw a fantastic Aurora …all raspberry and lime …so it’s not all bad.
what are you reading these days?
https://www.theguardian.com/books/2005/jul/23/featuresreviews.guardianreview14?CMP=Share_iOSApp_Other
I e just finished Summer in Baden Baden by Leonid Tsypkin which is a novel account of Dostoyevsky’s summer in Baden Baden with his wife but the story merges with the narrator’s own story…and it’s fantastic.
The other book I’ve enjoyed is art critic Peter Schjedahl’s The Art of Dying
https://www.newyorker.com/magazine/2019/12/23/the-art-of-dying-peter-schjeldahl
And, finally, Sidney Lumet’s Making Movies which is a very interesting, readable book about everything that goes into making movies…from writing, through editing, camera, production design,…all the technical stuff .
Those all sound interesting–thank you.
Lucky you, to see the Aurora Australis!
Smelling amazing in Shalimar EDC today received from a lovely NSTer via a Swapmeet from a few years back! The EDC has many parallels w/ Le Lion to my nose.
Shalimar, in its various incarnations, has fans and haters but the Millésimes set me on the path to understand and ultimately embrace the magic. 🎩🪄
Wow, we’re twins today! I’m neither a fan nor a hater, just someone who wonders what the fuss is all about. But I do like the edc very much.
Indeed, we smell great! I love the dry down of the EDC.
Happy Friday to all!
Sotd FM Portrait of a Lady. I don’t know if it’s truly under appreciated more than misunderstood? It is a rose fragrance but not soft, bashful roses- it’s a fragrance of operatic proportions with diva roses defying expectations! If you want a gentle floral that is subtle, keep walking as this ain’t it!
This is what Isabel Archer did, defy expectations by not wanting to get married. Tres difficile to go against society for long and she succumbed to her detriment, but her internal spice like POAL’s base notes resuscitated her ambitions and while the ending is cryptic, I believe she returned to her husband to free herself and her « daughter » to live the lives they wanted.
You smell fabulous, LesLiesse!
Thank you Daniel! Your thoughts on the misunderstood POAL?
Only that I adore wearing it, AND smelling it on someone else – so in a way I’d be delighted if it were even more appreciated! (And you’re right – nothing demure about this rose.🌹)
Perfumister/mista creed- you want to both wear it and smelling it on someone else! Well said!
I have sample of POAL on order. May not be for me but I have to sniff it. That is the perfume lover’s craziness: you have to smell fragrances even if you think you might not like them, just to experience.
Zephyr2, I totally get this now. I don’t think I did earlier. Great insight! Hope you like the POAL!
POAL is a marvelous dark rose scent!
ITA a dim grateful to the NSTer who sent me a small bottle. She’s nestled against my FB of FM Iris Poudre so they can be House twins.
You are really good at describing perfume LesLiesse.
That’s generous and kind of you to say lillyjo! But I bow down before you and my fellow NSTers in this area!!!
I think I’ll wear SJP Covet today (inspired by springpansy). Such a weird perfume but I really like it on me.
Nice choice. I really like it, too.
I love this one and like to change the body products I wear under it to make it a 3-season scent – sometimes lemon, sometimes green, sometimes chocolate.
Great choice. You smell delightful.
That’s a good one. I loved the perfume, but hated the bottle so much I didn’t buy it.
Like Glannys, my thoughts went to SL’s Miel de Bois, but I’ll save that for the evening – I do worry that people around me might be some of those who under-appreciate it!
Today I’m wearing Le Sillage Blanc from Dusita. I smell a green leather, some folks on Fragrantica smell all sorts of nasty things.
I have never found anybody who liked Miel de Bois…I wear it at home, alone 🙂
Was going to wear Une Fleur de Cassie, which doesn’t seem to have many fans, though I’ve always enjoyed it. But it’s way too warm today, so joining Robin in Iris Nobile edt. One of the few scents that I’m actually happy to have the ginormous bottle.
Une Fleur de Cassie is one of my favorites!
Hey twin!
Non compliant in a sample of DVN Camomile Satin.
Do you like it?
For today’s cp I chose Shalimar Eau de cologne, which I believe has now been discontinued, the only form of this fragrance I enjoy and wear. My first thought was to take the cp in reverse – so many Shalimar wearers rave and rave about Shalimar, especially so many of its many, many flankers (I can’t even count how many flankers there are!). And I wonder, what is the fuss all about? While I admit I haven’t tried the latest flankers I’ve tried enough of the Shalimar iterations and to me they’re just OK, so perhaps It is I who misunderstand and underappreciate this popular scent? On the flip side, perhaps the edc version is underappreciated as I rarely hear it praised by the Shalimar connoisseurs? (And this in no way is meant to disparage those of you who love Shalimar in all its essences; it’s merely my take on this fragrance.)
Day 1 of a music-filled – almost overfilled – weekend. It’s Virtual Dulcimer Fest weekend, and I’ve already watched 1 concert and done 2 workshops with 1 more workshop coming up shortly this afternoon. My favorite cellist is finally back in town and we’re going to his concert this evening. More than anything else, music helps me cope with all the horrible stuff going on in our country and the world.
Happy Friday to all!🎶🎼🎵
I hope you have a wonderful weekend and enjoy your workshops.
I like your take on the cp!
SOTD = Roberto Greco Rauque
Just got this from a swap and I couldn’t help myself but to wear it! Complete CP fail but eh? I love this! Where was I when this came out?
My financial seminar turned out into a big fat zero. To make a really long story shorter (seriously), I showed up at 6:15. The moment I mentioned my name, the assistant started making stupid excuses. She said she spoke with me (NO, she spoke with my sister), then it became your sister withdrew me (NO, I spoke with her and she cancelled hers and my BIL’s), then she said you reserved for Tuesday (NO, I couldn’t have because I had a class). At the proverbial end of the day, I left my number … let’s see if anyone contacts me for their next class, which, BTW, I would not attend because I don’t trust the company. I also just ended up eating dinner there 😋.
For jalapeno, speaking of expiration dates, would you believe that in the middle of the night (so really Thursday morning), I heard a BEEP x 5. I wasn’t sure what it was and was going to let it go. But it kept beeping. I found out it was the end of life for a CO detector. I followed the instructions and it still kept beeping. Thank God there were 4 screws so I was able to open it. What did I see? A battery that expired in … 2015, just like the one for my postal scale. I had to cut off the wires for it to stop beeping!
You smell fabulous!
And what rock was I stuck under when Roberto Greco’s other masterpiece Œillères was released???
Yeesh, you’ve had some misadventures too!
As soon as you mentioned the CO detector beeping multiple times in succession and not stopping, I knew what it was. Why do those #@$% things usually fail in the middle of the night, or early morning?
I’m at the recording studio today, so I can’t wear anything very noticeable. For my own pleasure, though, I’m wearing a roll/dab of Aesop’s Marrakech Intense Parfum under my shirt. Under-appreciated as an office scent!
I like hardly know any of these scents today #stillan00b. Would you say it’s more important what the scent is for the office or a modest application/dab ?
Butting in to say both. Some perfumes, although rather potent, stay close to the skin. So you might fly under the radar that way. No guarantees. Other perfumes may be light, but you can smell them a mile away. Those are the kind that can result in perfume bans.
My $0.02 worth.
So true.
My SOTD is my very cherished Amouage Opus VIII, which is now discontinued. Maybe that testifies to its being misunderstood. At any rate, it’s a gorgeous, rich fragrance that opens with powerful white florals (jasmine) + ylang ylang and spicy ginger, and adds in a LOT of very high quality olibanum (=frankincense). It’s got other things too including saffron, bay, and benzoin. It’s just a beautiful, royal-smelling, dreamy kind of scent. I tried many of the other Opus scents but didn’t get into any of them, but this one stood out so much that I got a FB a long time ago. I never see anything about any one else wearing or mentioning it and it’s too bad. When Amouage fragrances are good, in my experience, they are very very good, due to their super materials. I’m definitely not a fan of everything they put out, though, nor am I a fan of their outrageous prices.
Some years ago, Beauty Encounter used to have manufacturer samples of Amouage. I tried to get a sample of your SOTD, to no avail. It was scarce even then.
I had a tough time choosing one for the cp, but I ended up just going with one of my top favorites that I rarely hear anyone else here mention: Miller Harris L’air de Rien. I’ll just never get enough of it and can’t comprehend how everyone doesn’t go gaga for it. 😉
I finally added my Q3 purchases to the poll!
I appreciated L’air de Rien but couldn’t get past the strong anamalic note, which I usually enjoy in fragrance.
I hope your big work event has gone or is going to go well😊
And for me, it hits my perfect balance of animalic. 😉
Thank you! The event isn’t until Monday the 13th so we’re in the home stretch now.
Wish I would have gotten a bottle of L’air de Rien while it was around. ITA with you: it’s amazing!
Let me know if I can send you a decant! I have 2.5 bottles, one of them thanks to a swap with allo a few years ago.
It also looks like they currently have it in stock, as they brought it back last year or so. I’m seeing it at a number of places. However, I don’t think I’ve smelled the most recent version.
I did not have a strong CP choice but while decanting for a Swapmeet friend, I spritzed generously with Amouage Lilac Love. I’ve seen reviews referencing (not in a good way) baby powder and gourmand sweetness. But I think LL has an intriguing story to tell, and ends with a lovely musk. I have an older bottle.
How’s your kitty doing today?
Thanks for asking! He is not quit back to normal as far as, shall we say, box usage. But I checked in with the vet and she said not to worry yet. Overall he is romping around and gobbling his food and actually enjoying his Cone of Shame. He scooped up a toy and tossed it using the cone. So cute.
I think this is the first time I have ever heard of a cat enjoying the Cone of Shame!
Cone tossing – adorable!
I wore FM Acne Studio. I think aldehydes is a category I haven’t really liked before but I have learned to appreciate. Maybe Chanel No. 5 is the gateway drug. Yes, the Acne Studio is a bit simplistic and linear but sometimes I am in the mood for that.
I have only just barely learned to appreciate aldehydes, sounds like you’re doing better than me!
Posting late! It was a warm one today. One of my weather apps said it got up to 88 this afternoon. Despite summer-like temps, signs of Fall are everywhere. I’m seeing lots of leaves changing color, the sun is going down much earlier now (BOO), and the sky looks a different blue.
So I had a bit of a misadventure this afternoon while trying to run errands. As I was leaving the Post Office, I shifted into reverse with the car and felt a weird clunk. After I backed out of the parking space, I realize in horror that my shifter was stuck in reverse! I couldn’t budge it. I quickly ran to the cars stuck behind me to tell them I had a car problem, so they weren’t wondering why this crazy driver just stopped in the middle of the parking lot.
Long story, short(er); I had several people assist me, or try to. One guy with a Harley did his level best to try and fix my cranky shifter, to no avail. I had texted my brother about this, and he was on his way. Thank God he wasn’t working today.
Eventually I had a few people help me push my car back into the parking space I had pulled out of, so I wasn’t an impediment to traffic. At one point, I called a towing company for an estimate if worst came to worst.
While I was waiting for my brother, someone who came out of the Post Office asked if I had car trouble. I said Yes, but I have someone coming. He was going to offer me a ride if I needed it.
When my brother showed up, it took him all of maybe 5 minutes to fix the shifter so I could drive home. He followed me to make sure that I made it safely.
Whew.
After all that… hey, at least I got more stamps!
SOTD = the OG Angel EdP, in the ridiculously cute 10mL star bottle. Mine’s been around long enough that the perfume has turned brown. Still smells great, even in near 90-degree F temps. It’s a polarizing scent, so I think that qualifies as misunderstood no matter what your opinion of Angel is.
Scent siblings. I wore Angel Innocent.
I’m so glad your brother was able to help and that the other drivers were trying to be helpful!
I gave the Harley guy $5 for trying his best.
I forgot that I could have gotten my car into neutral by stepping on the clutch and having other people push.
So glad your brother could help and you got home safely!
Did you get those Dahlia stamps? I picked up some the other day and saw you mentioning them.
The post office I went to didn’t have them. I lucked out and did get one sheet of the D&D stamps, b/c that’s how I roll.
But holiday stamps I might have to get online.
Then very glad you got the stamps you wanted. I’m bummed that my Roy Lichtenstein stamps are gone☹️
Glad your story had a happy ending! And glad you wore Angel through it all! One of my stars is brown but still smells great.
If worst came to worst, I would have had my car towed. It would have been around $200. Fortunately, my brother saved me the expense.
I think I owe him some Jimmy Johns or something.
Jalapeno that sounds harrowing! Glad it all worked out (and stamps)! Plus you smelled divine in Angel!
Bergamot, Jasmine, and Labdanum (Dame).
I am glad it warmed up a bit.
Great combo!
Later than Jalapeno tonight.
My car said it was 90 degrees today. I wore just a spritz of Angel Innocent to represent original Angel. I think it’s misunderstood. It took me literally a decade to warm up to it. I just couldn’t embrace the new gourmond category.
I’m glad I took the time to get to know it. ( I do prefer Alien though)
It was the patchouli in Angel that I was horrified by originally. Now I am a patch fiend.
Oh, and hiya scent sibling!
