Comme des Garcons + Vaquera Classique Perdu ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 30 September 2025 8 Comments

New York based fashion label Vaquera has launched a new unisex fragrance in collaboration with Comme des Garçons, Classique Perdu.

A new scent that feels like a perfume you once knew, then forgot, and have just stumbled upon in the back of a clearance shelf. Inspired by the scent of perfume ads in 90s fashion magazines, the scent of freshly dried hair after a shower, the scent of your childhood car’s air conditioning, and the metallic sparkle of a summer fountain—woven with mystery, nostalgia—Classique Perdu invites you to rediscover a fragrance that feels both familiar and forgotten, an iconic scent lost and found again.

Classique Perdu was developed by perfumer Suzy Le Helley. The notes for the aromatic green floral include lavandin, tomato leaf, permanent marker accord, blackcurrant, clary sage, iris, solar rose, styrax, sandalwood, suede and evernyl.

Comme des Garçons + Vaquera Classique Perdu is available in 30 ml Eau de Toilette, €80.

CdG working with a “Cowgirl” brand to make a perfume that is Classic Lost? Wasted? and it’s green floral?

The notes sound weird! If you sniff this please report back. I enjoy CdG but can’t imagine this one…

Yes, if this mimics the markers I am thinking of, I am going to be ensnared by nostalgia into buying a bottle

I would love to try this. Finally something that sounds fun and unique (in theory, anyway).

…adding, AND does not cost a fortune, although the price per ml is not fantastic.
