Bottega Veneta Mezzanotte ~ new fragrances

Posted by Robin on 3 September 2025 9 Comments

Bottega Veneta has launched Mezzanotte, a new collection of three fragrances inspired by 'the richness of the night' and the brand's Italian roots: Almost Dawn, Goodmorning Midnight and Hinoki.

Almost Dawn ~ A gourmand with chestnut, truffle and vanilla.

Goodmorning Midnight ~ A floral with rose, oud and wild strawberry.

Hinoki ~ With fir balsam, hinoki wood and patchouli.

Bottega Veneta Almost Dawn, Goodmorning Midnight and Hinoki are available now at a Bottega Veneta pop up at Harrods, or at The Dubai Mall. They are probably in 100 ml Eau de Parfum. Wider distribution is expected to begin next month.

    The bottles look hideous 🙈!

Almost Dawn and Hinoki sound good but since I have no clue about pricing, this may not be for me? I will try if I see them.

Oh my gosh, I was coming to comment that I really like the bottles! 😂

I could do without the platform thing they sit on, but I really like the wavy bottles. Reminds me a bit of this Comme des Garcons bottle: https://www.fragrantica.com/perfume/Comme-des-Garcons/Comme-des-Garcons-2011-14023.html

I do not know the price of these, but last year’s set were $450 each.

They really are awful: I don’t like those blobby shapes, and I just viscerally hate that glass that has those little bubbles in it. The original Christian Lacroix fragrance from 1999 had glass like that and I never ever smelled it because of that ugly bottle. For all I know it was a masterpiece but I couldn’t.

And those things at the bottom make them look like they’re sitting on inflatable hemorrhoid pillows. The whole design seems like a series of missteps. I can’t imagine what the thinking was.

You should book a trip to Italy and see what they do with Murano glass.

Something about those bottles reminds me of a Lava Lamp. Since I own one, I think it’s kinda cool. But pictures can lie about appearances.

Ha, that is not the aesthetic they were going for.

I still cannot with these bottles. They look like mounds of turd.

The bottles look like little speciality syrup or honey bottles to me. I look at them and think, “Mmm, pancakes!” LOL. So many different responses to these bottles here.
