Gucci Muschio di Luce, Muschio Mineralis, Rosa Incandescente & Rosa Sublime ~ new fragrances

Posted by Robin on 2 September 2025 2 Comments

Gucci has launched four new fragrances in The Alchemist's Garden collection. Muschio di Luce, Muschio Mineralis, Rosa Incandescente and Rosa Sublime are intended to 'reimagine the four stages of ancient alchemy'.

Muschio di Luce ~ "Master perfumer Alberto Morillas used his decades of experience to craft this woody musky scent, sublimating matter to reflect the powerful aerial majesty and radiance of musk. Graceful. Elegant. Majestic. Muschio di Luce Eau de Parfum captures the intense majesty of clouds. It uplifts you with its luminous breath of spicy musk, a powdery yet strong note that encapsulates the rounded complexity and creamy texture of a clouded sky. This is pierced by the peppery spiciness of pink pepper and woody vetiver, both captured through a modern supercritical fluid extraction method that faithfully maintains the true character of the materials. A distinctive scent of unrivaled intimacy."

Muschio Mineralis ~ "Two perfumers, the fiercely focused Mathilde Bijaoui and artistic soul Julie Massé, worked together to bring this sultry musky ambery story to life, conjuring the mystery of a fox with carnal musk accord, mineral ambrox and soothing vanilla. Carnal. Sensual. Enigmatic. Muschio Mineralis Eau de Parfum is rooted in the rich, mineral depths of earth. Anchored in the raw beauty of a carnal musk accord, an infusion of ambrox allows its sensual, mineral rawness to emerge. Sultriness is introduced through a vanilla absolute and infusion. Solvent-extracted from raw bean pods, followed by a maceration treatment, this delicious duo of vanilla notes boasts of warm, woody tones. A long-lasting sillage of supreme strength."

Rosa Incandescente ~ "Perfumers Cecile Matton and Ralf Schwieger created this exceptional floral marine jewel by bringing together their respective skills for utilizing imperfections and enhancing the imagined color of an olfactive ingredient. Freeing their minds from the usual constraints, they worked in tandem to bring these two free-spirited ideas into one, a fascinating combination rarely seen before. Incandescent. Mystical. Transcendent. Like a powerful storm rolling off the ocean toward a fire-loving land, Rosa Incandescente Eau de Parfum transports you beyond your wildest imagination. An undiscovered treasure forged through the blazing chaos between shore and sea, salty red seaweed crashes into honeyed Damascena rose. The pure essence of red seaweed is revealed through a modern supercritical fluid extraction technique that preserves its marine beauty."

Rosa Sublime ~ "This floral spicy musky scent owes its beautiful fluidity to perfumer Mathilde Bijaoui, who brought the movements of a fan and the image of a pulsing heart together to create this tantalizing and emotive embrace. Seductive. Alluring. Voluptuous. Contrasting energies are brought together with fluid harmony in Rosa Sublime Eau de Parfum. It sways between the opulence of a distilled Damascena rose superessence and the stimulating excitement of a spicy saffron accord. The Damascena rose superessence is captured using steam to distil the most desirable olfactory molecules while retaining the delicate and subtle aromatic facets lost in standard processes. Bringing a polymorphous and ever-changing aura through this method, the scent teases and entices between its contrasted rosy and spicy facets."

Gucci Muschio di Luce, Muschio Mineralis, Rosa Incandescente and Rosa Sublime are available now at Macy's, in 50 ($280) and 100 ($415) ml Eau de Parfum.

Okay Muschio Mineralis with your “long-lasting sillage of supreme strength”. Hope the powerful carnal musk doesn’t smell like a literal musky fox! (I doubt Gucci will be so daring)
I do want to try Rose Incandescente for it’s supercritically extracted briney seaweed essence.

I have been ignoring this whole series so no idea if they would be that daring, but it does seem unlikely!
