Today, there [are] only about 100,000 unique fragrances that have ever been made. I think there should be millions.

Well, as a lot of people on this website been saying for ages, the trouble with the fragrance industry is that there just aren’t enough scents on the market: three to four thousand new releases a year just won’t do it. But finally someone is listening, and I look forward to the day when there are millions of scents for sale and we can all effortlessly find the perfect fragrance.
Seriously though what is wrong with this man? It’s already impossible to smell even a reasonable fraction of the scents launched every year, and he thinks it would be nice to increase that by a couple of orders of magnitude? I just don’t understand it.
Seriously. What we need is to go back to the old days. I don’t care if they use AI or not, but fewer launches, please.
