Tauer Perfumes has launched two new fragrances, Rose Absolue and Vanilla Absolue.
Rose Absolue ~ "ROSE ABSOLUE builds on the rich Rose Flash from Tauerville, reimagined with touch greater depth, and a hint of added richness. It reflects Andy Tauer’s deep love for rose and his passion for creating expressive, long-lasting fragrances. The scent opens with a bright flash of gourmand fruity berries, citrus, and soft spices. The rose shows its uber rich presence right from the beginning. It blooms into a velvety heart of luxurious rose absolute, and settles into a warm, embracing base of amber, woods, and resins. Familiar, yet fuller. A rose with presence; it is bold, elegant, and unmistakably Tauer."
Vanilla Absolue ~ "VANILLA ABSOLUE builds on the Vanilla Flash from Tauerville, offering a deeper, and a bit more luxurious interpretation of vanilla. It reflects Andy Tauer’s ongoing exploration of warm, resinous themes and his love for long-lasting, characterful perfumes that unfold slowly on skin. The fragrance opens with a soft glow of spices and a hint of fruits over a rich rosy geranium layer, leading into a rich, textured heart of dark vanilla, rose, and tobacco. The vanilla builds on a natural C02 extract of vanilla pods that is warm, balsamic and woody. A warm base of patchouli, amber, and balsamic resins anchors the composition with lasting depth and sensuality. Vanilla absolue is a perfectly unisex, warm and radiant, comforting vanilla perfume far beyond the ordinary. A vanilla with soul."
Tauer Perfumes Rose Absolue and Vanilla Absolue are $205 each for 50 ml.

Down the road I might get these but not right now.
I luckily still have some of the original Flash, although they’re showing their age.
I of course immediately went to the website … $205 per bottle? Thanks, but no thanks.
Yeah, the Flash were smaller but much more affordable.
As a Tauer fan girl, I read with interest, but didn’t go to the website. I assume they sold out within 30 minutes of whatever ungodly hour of the morning it was here when he announced them, as with all his recent releases. And then after consideration, I already own 2 Tauer roses. So I’m good…money saved. 🙂
I don’t think these were limited, but nor have I checked to see if they sold out.
