Memo Paris Red Island ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 26 June 2025 2 Comments

French niche line Memo has launched Red Island, a new fragrance in the brand’s Graines Vagabondes collection.

It all begins with an aromatic top note, in which longoza, a typical herbaceous plant from the island of Madagascar, takes center stage, exhaling its unique, finely spiced charm. At its heart, a bold coffee extract unfolds, with its woody, toasty, smoky accents. The base note reveals the caressing facet of vanilla, another Malagasy jewel, adding a delicately gourmand touch to the composition.

About the flacon: it's called the traveller's tree and it adorns the bottle of Red Island. The unique fan shape of this flowering plant punctuates the island’s landscapes and becomes the distinctive sign of this fragrance.

Red Island is a fragrance available exclusively online and in our Boutique Cambon at Paris.

"I wished to capture the essence of a vibrant café, where the aroma of freshly roasted coffee intertwines with the lively atmosphere and warm conversations, offering a sensory experience rich in emotion and comfort." [perfumer] Aliénor Massenet

Additional notes include bergamot, cinnamon, sandalwood, carrot, patchouli and tonka bean.

Memo Red Island is available in 75 ml Eau de Parfum.

Welp. Got me curious. Not your everyday fresh musk.

So far I have not really loved anything from Memo, but I stopped trying awhile back so who knows. This one looks hard to get anyway.
