Givenchy Desobeissant, L’Enfant Terrible & Tapageur ~ new fragrances

Posted by Robin on 8 March 2025 2 Comments

Givenchy has launched Les Jardins Particulier, with three new "intense fresh" fragrances joining La Collection Particulière: Désobéissant, L’Enfant Terrible and Tapageur.

The three fragrances of Les Jardins Particulier are built around Black Tea harvested in Sri Lanka and enhanced by a CO₂ extraction. Its woody and smoky facets, combined with the purity of hand-picked leaves, imbue this collection with an intense and sophisticated freshness.

Désobéissant ~ Woody spicy citrus. "Striking a dancing pose in the fountain of the Hotel Particulier's jardin à la française, Désobeissant bursts open with delicious freshness. A rebel at heart, it cultivates the impertinence of someone always forgiven no matter what. The spicy insolence of Cardamom Essence blends with the acidulous brightness of Citron Essence. Black Tea Extract, from the Sri Lankan highlands, infuses the audacious duo with powerfully dark and mysterious notes. In contrast, Scots Pine Essence adds its own woody aromatic accords to this mesmerizing creation. Finally, Cedarwood Essence unfolds to infuse the trail with a soft yet vibrant harmony. Modern and timeless, this fragrance reveals all the fascination sparked by its contrasting facets."

L’Enfant Terrible ~ Woody citrus musk. "Hubert de Givenchy, the 'Enfant Terrible of Haute Couture' embodies the quintessential rebellious prodigy. An aristocrat with a revolutionary spirit, unruly yet a Gentleman, this Enfant Terrible challenges the established order. The fragrance opens with a Bergamot Fraction and pure Extract of Ginger, creating a dazzling and vibrant tête-à-tête. This disruptive trail is enveloped in a calming coextract of Labdanum Absolute and Ambrox, while their ambery warmth heightens the majestic nobility of Virginia Cedarwood. Unconventional and free-spirited, this fragrance radiates its contagious energy."

Tapageur ~ Woody citrus floral. "Expressing its ferocious lust for life, Tapageur states loud and clear who it is and what it thinks. Disturbing the harmony of the Hôtel Particulier's Garden, while spreading a trail of freedom, it never goes unnoticed. On top, Green Mandarin Essence radiates its zesty freshness. While deliciously sun-kissed Orange Blossom makes this effervescent trail extremely addictive. Black Tea Extract from Sri Lanka and Orris Concrete offer woody, smoky and subtly powdery tones. Then, the majestic essence of Album Sandalwood unveils its warm aura on this exuberant composition. For those who like to capture attention, this fragrance resonates unforgettably in the mind."

Givenchy Désobéissant, L’Enfant Terrible and Tapageur are available in 50 ($205) and 100 ($320) ml Eau de Parfum.
