Lancome Rose from the Dark ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 4 March 2025 5 Comments

Lancôme has launched Rose from the Dark, a new addition to the Absolue Les Parfums collection.

The Lancôme Absolue Les Parfums Rose from the Dark Eau de Parfum is a mesmerizing journey through light and shadow, where the queen of flowers reigns supreme. A trio of opulent roses — Damascena, exclusive Lancôme, and precious Taïf—unfolds in velvety richness, wrapped in the sensual embrace of amber, white musk, and deep woody notes. Inspired by the mystery of a desert breeze, this fragrance unveils a bold yet delicate aura, evoking a dreamlike elegance. With its groundbreaking halo construction, this scent redefines rose in perfumery, crafting an unforgettable, luminous sillage.

***

“Like an evanescent dream, a bold white rose is enveloped by the strength of woody notes. The majestic queen of flowers—here in a trip: the rich Damascena, the exclusive Lancôme and the precious Taïf—reveals full, opulent petals, sprinkled with the soft aura of Musk.” — [perfumer] DOMINIQUE ROPION

Lancôme Rose from the Dark is available in 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

While I prefer a different color juice, I will try this the next time I see it at Macys.

It sounds intriguing, but I got stuck at the phrase “mysterious desert breeze.” ??

It is an odd shade, at least in that image.

They had me at “trio of opulent roses”, and I don’t even mind the colour of the juice — it’s Roses in the Dark, so why shouldn’t it look crepuscular? I bet the price is horrendous, though.

The others in the series were €280 each.
