The daily lemming

Posted by Robin on 4 October 2024 10 Comments

Holiday candles from Glasshouse: Festival of Lights (blue; "Sweet milky Tonka Bean, Apple and spices evoke the bright and joyful blessing of light this season"), Night Before Christmas (red; "Blackcurrant, Plum, Lemon and Lavender hung in the eventide air. Inspired by plum puddings, sweet treats and festive fruits, conjuring dream-like visions and the magic of Christmas"), Winter Wonderland (green; "The nostalgic, sensory immediacy of the tree, glistening prettily with snowflakes and sparkling with the scent of freshly cut fir and spruce, it’s Christmas at its most star-bright") and White Christmas (white; "Vivid and illuminating, Cedar Leaf, Fruity Clove and Eucalyptus evoke wintery escapes, while Fir Balsam places you amongst snow-capped trees"). Each 380g for $55 at Neiman Marcus (where you'll also find other sizes, home and bath items, and a Glasshouse advent calendar).

I love the set. If (really, really!) were to buy one, my first pick would be the green!

I love this brand, although I don’t think the jars themselves are anywhere near as gorgeous as the dragon candle that had me swooning. I’m sure I’ll buy one of these, just not sure which one…🙃

I’d happily take any of the colors, and all the scents sound appealing, too. I’m not getting any candles for myself this year, as I have several I’m working on. I was never that into candles until *you guys* brought them to my attention!

I am still not that into candles but I do tend to buy one every year or so.

I like the pour-your-own candles from Siblings because it feels like a 2-fer with a mini craft project + a candle.
