Italian house Costume National has launched Sea Thru, a new fougère fragrance.

A celebration of transparency in all its forms. Transparency capable of evoking brightness, lightness,and freshness; but which can also transform into opalescence, suggesting shapes that are only partially defined. Transparency that can reveal, while simultaneously preserving, the enigma surrounding it. In Sea Thru, natural and molecular notes merge in a fougère that is both extraordinary and unexpected: as green as emerging leaves, as light as a weightless dance in water, as crisp as ice,as fresh as a cold plunge that delivers a stinging kiss, as shady as the undergrowth, and infinitely bright, evoking sunlight boldly entering through crystalline fluctuations.

In the creation of Sea Thru, Céline Barel finds her muse in synaesthesia, interweaving different sensory spheres and constructing new dimensions capable of awakening hidden aspirations and parts of herself. This process allows her to envision new horizons and identify unexpected potential goals. On this magnificent journey, transparency gives way to mystery; it ripples, creating vortexes and vertigo, rebirth and light.

A fragrance with an ethereal and enigmatic character, Sea Thru opens with a completely citrus top, leaving a sensation of freshness and lightness on the skin. The heart, with aromatic and salty notes, pleasantly invigorates the senses, giving this fougère its surprising appearance. The base is clean, woody, and enveloping at the same time.

The notes include lemon, grapefruit, bitter orange bigarade, neroli, cypress, saltwater accord, benzoin, operanide (ambery wood) and oak moss.

Costume National Sea Thru is available in 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum.
