French niche line Frédéric Malle has launched Hope, a new fragrance in the Desert Gems collection (see The Night, Promise, Dawn, The Moon).

HOPE eau de parfum has been created by perfumer Dominique Ropion for Editions De Parfums Frederic Malle’s Desert Gems collection. Emulating the rising feeling of determination, jubilation and instinct that hope brings, this aroma has been infused with a delicate dance of juniper oud and amber. Flourishing its blend into a luminous cloak of smoke and leather, it makes for an opulent indulgence.
Additional notes include pink pepper.
Frédéric Malle Hope is available now at Harrods, in 10, 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum (£165-£755).

New hope for Editions de Parfums? I don’t know, that whole Desert Gems collection is a bit much for me personally.
