Jo Malone Hinoki & Cedarwood ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 12 July 2024 3 Comments

Jo Malone has launched Hinoki & Cedarwood, a new fragrance in the brand's Cologne Intense series.

The aromatic fragrance features notes of cypress trees that unite with the warmth of grapevine and the sensuality of amber.

A fresh and woody scent that leaves a lasting impression.

Refined, distinctive and bold.

Jo Malone Hinoki & Cedarwood is available now at Nordstrom, in 50 ($160) and 100 ($228) ml Cologne Intense.

(via nordstrom)

Update: the new description from Nordstrom...

A distinctive woody scent inspired by forest bathing among hinoki trees in the Japanese wilderness. Deep in the Japanese wilderness, the grounding presence of the hinoki tree is experienced through the ritual of forest bathing. Follow an immersive fusion of clean aromatic notes and woody intensity with a powerful trail of elegant cedarwood and hinoki. The distinctive, clean accord is intensely fresh with an aromatic twist. The hinoki-wood note is a rare and valuable wood that adds woody intensity with an aromatic facet. The cedarwood note features a woody, dry character that imbues the base with charismatic intensity.

It looks like Nordstrom has the wrong description and scent notes for Hinoki & Cedarwood, because it is exactly the same for JM Cypress & Grapevine.
