Robert Piguet Fracas Eau Fraiche ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 3 May 2024 17 Comments

Robert Piguet will introduce Fracas Eau Fraîche, a new flanker to 1948's Fracas.

Inspired by the iconic fragrance that revolutionized the world of perfumery in 1948, this contemporary interpretation brings a new dimension to the legendary Fracas collection. The fragrance opens with an explosion of lively citrus notes and evolves into a playful blend of soft flowers, above all tuberose and jasmine. The result is a current and effervescent bouquet that dances on the skin with exuberance.

Fracas Eau Fraîche was developed by perfumer Calice Becker. The notes for the citrus floral include bergamot, mandarin, jasmine, tuberose, musk and sandalwood.

Robert Piguet Fracas Eau Fraîche will be available in 25 ml.

Could be! And at least you’d only have 25 mls to get through if it wasn’t 🙂

I can’t even be angry at the millennial pink bottle.

With that color, I thought it might have a strawberry note. Which I’m not sure is a bad idea. Very lemmable size!

I would love to try this. I wonder if I will be able to find it anywhere.

I winced when I saw “Eau Fraiche”, fearing that an aquatic note had been inflicted on this perfume. Glad it isn’t so.

I am very interested in this because I have several perfume-loves from Calice Baker! I am a Beyond Paradise fan. But the Oscar de la Renta “Essential Luxuries” collection, which came and went about 10 years ago had several gems she created. And, yes! to that size.

I’m curious, which of the OdlR were your favorite? I never heard much about that line.

Coralina, a breezy tropical floral, is my favorite. The others are: Santo Domingo, Granada, Oriental Lace, Mi Corazon, and Sargasso. I have a set of travel sprays purchased on Ebay, where the set still can be found. I haven’t sniffed them in a while but do remember that one is amber/tobacco, one rather aquatic and fresh, and I liked them all. Also, I think one or maybe two were not by Ms. Becker.

Heard about its launching during Esxence. Look forwards to it as a fan of Fracas and Calice Becker (she is very good at modern floral, isn’t she!)

Tho the pink bottle and 25ml still shock me…
