The daily lemming

Posted by Robin on 13 March 2024 8 Comments

Guerlain's Perle Impériale Millésime 2024, the first of a projected yearly series of limited edition bee bottles for Eid al-Fitr: "Combining savoir-faire and avant-garde, the iconic Bee Bottle is adorned with an elegant lace of pearly-white cabochons designed and enhanced with dazzling crystals by the House of Swarovski. This new creation, with its exclusive powdery trail, invites you on a sensory odyssey between East and West...in its eau de parfum version. As radiant as the crystals adorning the bottle, this exclusive olfactory touch opens with luminous bergamot before revealing in its heart a luscious and enchanting fig accord that unfurls with the sensuality of a pearl. This powdery trail then awakens the spirit of the Orient, embodied by a woody sandalwood base, enhanced by myrrh and leathery notes." 1,605 were made, 125 ml Eau de Parfum plus 30 ml travel spray and funnel, $800.

I would buy the juice inside the Guerlain Perle Impériale Millésime 2024. That bottle is hideous.

I don’t hate it but I’m not drooling over it either.

That 30 ml is cute as a button though.

“Exclusive powdery trail….” Huh. I wonder what makes it so exclusive? 😒
Sorry for the snarkiness, but I just couldn’t resist this one!

🙂 Well, it did get me in a bit of trouble last time.

A FB person cut the strands of pearls at the glass ridge level of the dome where it meets the sides. Looks a lot better.
