A new opportunity in ultra-luxe beauty is unfolding. In 2024, premium brands will be exploring how to woo the wealthiest consumers through product innovations and retail experiences.

It is a trend that has already permeated hospitality and fashion. This year, Chanel unveiled two invitation-only boutiques for its top-tier clients in China, while Gucci’s new Salon concept, open in London, Los Angeles and Tokyo, has a minimum spend of £40,000.

With spices, papyrus, rosewood and cedar, $79.50 at Aedes.

It’s Monday and the 5th night of Hanukkah. Also, International Mountain Day, and in Argentina, Día Nacional Del Tango. Happy 92nd birthday to Rita Moreno! What fragrance are you wearing?

I’m in Fendi Theorema, but after a very long travel day yesterday I am too brain dead to say what they should have named it. I just know Theorema was not the right name. I’ll try again tomorrow (or feel free to vote for your choice in the comments).
