Tauer Perfumes has launched Nexin, a new limited edition fragrance celebrating the brand's 18th birthday.
TAUER PERFUMES proudly presents NEXIN, a limited edition extrait de parfum created by renowned perfumer Andy Tauer to celebrate 18 years of creativity in the world of unique fragrances.
Each bottle is numbered from 1 to 1000 and captures the beauty of the cosmos and sparkling stars with the extrait it contains. Each bottle of this perfume is a strictly numbered one-of-a-kind and is accompanied by a personal card with a handwritten note from the fragrance creator himself.
"Nexin" is a term derived from the word "nexus", which signifies a connection or link between people, things, or parts of a system as well as a connected group or series of things. The term also implies the core or center of a matter or situation. This fragrance, created by Andy Tauer, serves as a bridge between his earlier work such as "L’air du desert marocain" and his newer creations like "Golestan" and "Sundowner". Nexin is a celebration of nearly two decades of perfume creation. By connecting the past with the present, Nexin serves as a reminder of the grandeur of perfume and connects you with the creative universe of Tauer.

Yeah, woke up this morning, opened the email first thing, and it was long gone. Les Senteurs in London still seems to have it, but like you, I’m waffling on buying unsniffed and also having to figure out if they’ll ship to Canada or the U.S. (Of course, if I were going to take the leap of faith for any line, it’d probably be Tauer.)
They don’t ship outside the UK. Le sigh.
Their website seem to clearly state that they do ship internationally –

I put it in my cart and tried to pay for it. The only country options were UK, Guernsey and Jersey, as I recall.
Oh, also Isle of Man was on the dropdown country list when I selected “Ship” as my delivery option. Still not helpful. And as much as I’d like to pick up in store, I don’t see a trip to London in the cards in the next few months. 🙂

I might have plunged for a bottle, as the price isn’t horrible for a Limited Edition or even for a regular perfume these days! I actually just did a double take when I saw that L’Air du Désert is still less than $130/50ml. I should really just buy a replacement bottle.
If it were available in one of those 5ml minis, I would get it but I am on a no full bottle buy.

My lemming danced around this morning, but I pushed him back in his cage. I decided that Nexin will have that Tauer signature base which I love and have in several other Tauers. Like Joe I thought the price was fabulous, but I stick by what I said the other day about Le Lion. I could spend about the same for a back-up bottle (although I’ve officially given up back up bottles). I’m to the point where I have maybe a dozen perfumes I really love, and therefore more than I can wear. Yay for everyone who gets a chance to sniff this – it will be excellent.
I debated but no mention of vanilla so I opted out. 😆

I am puzzled, because I placed an order for two bottles online this morning and the order seemed to go through, although the checkout screen showed US sold out, EU sold out in the item description field. I’m guessing I will get an order cancellation notice and a refund on Monday…
Just chiming in that I’d happily join in on a split if a bottle is ever found and that happens. Love Andy and his creations!
