It’s Friday! Also, National Chocolate Cake Day and International Holocaust Remembrance Day. Birthdays: Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Lewis Carroll, Jerome Kern, Bobby Blue Bland, Narciso Rodriguez and Alan Cumming. Our community project: wear a fragrance by Narciso Rodriguez, if you have one. 

What fragrance did you pick? As always, do chime in with your scent of the day even if you’re not participating in the community project.

I suspect I will not be the only one in Narciso by Narciso Rodriguez aka White Cube. (Also, I’m still catching up after spending most of yesterday in bed recovering from my shingles shot. I’ll read the Thursday comments by the end of the day…)

“Most Australians don’t understand how valuable this is, but occasionally, we see people slowly driving past,” [Tim] Coakley says, surrounded by rows of agarwood-producing Aquilaria trees arranged as neatly as the boxed citrus trees in the Orangery at Versailles. “We have cameras set up in the trees. If you go to Asia they have seven-foot walls and people wandering around with guns.”
