Bath & Body Works has launched Chasing Fireflies, a new fragrance for women.
What it smells like: fruity yet floral with a dash of enchantment.
Fragrance notes: golden pear, jasmine blooms and illuminated woods.
Bath & Body Works Chasing Fireflies is available in 7 or 50 ml Eau de Parfum, or in 75 or 236 ml Fragrance Mist. There are also lots of matching bath, body and home fragrance products.

For me, ‘illuminated woods’ conjures up that wonderful moment when darkness falls and the fireflies – or, lightning bugs as we called them in my childhood – suddenly light up the forest with their nighttime glow. I think of green, but soft and warm.
That’s what I think of, too. No fireflies in my native province but I have seen them in rural-ish Ontario and they bring so much joy.
