The occasional lemming

Posted by Robin on 1 August 2023 2 Comments

From English brand Bath House, Fig & Nutmeg Bath Oil: "A calming bath oil made with skin-conditioning plant oils to gently soothe and nourish the skin. Fragranced with a rich, woody scent of Fig & Nutmeg. [...] Fresh, sophisticated and classic, a scent tailored with bright notes of juicy fig, iris and chamomile layered with spicy nutmeg, clove, sandalwood and the warmth of amber mixed with a hint of smoky patchouli"; $36.50 for 100 ml at Smallflower.

The perfumer credited for this brand in the past and for this scent definitely, is Ruth Mastenbroek. Looking at the website now they don’t give the name of any perfumer. Pity as the creators deserve to be acknowledged IMO and Mastenbroek is one to be proud of in any case.
