4711 Acqua Colonia Peony & Sandalwood ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 22 June 2023 4 Comments

4711 has launched Peony & Sandalwood, a new fragrance in the brand's Acqua Colonia range.

An indulgent fragrance. In the 4711 Acqua Colonia Peony & Sandalwood variant of this Eau de Cologne, the floral nuances of peony – China's queen of flowers – encounter the aromatic notes of soothing sandalwood and merge to create an extraordinary interaction of scents as well as a feel-good moment. The peony blossoms' delicate aspect is interspersed with fresh notes and enveloped by the structured appeal of the white sandalwood. Paired with its woody and textural notes, the fragrance retains a gentle, feminine complexity.

"YOU ARE A QUEEN. The delicate notes of peony meet the striking texture of precious sandalwood. As rich in contrast as its wearer, this indulgent creation underlines the feminine aura.” — [Perfumer] Fanny Bal

4711 Acqua Colonia Peony & Sandalwood is available in 50 and 100 ml Eau de Cologne.

Sounds pretty. I wish we could get this line in the US.

I stand corrected. Looks like Fragrancenet carries it!

Wow, I love both of these notes, but am having a difficult time imagining how they would go together. I’m definitely curious enough to try to find some, at least.
