Nina Ricci Nina Le Parfum ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 16 June 2023 6 Comments

Nina Ricci has launched Nina Le Parfum, a new flanker to 2006's Nina.

Follow your intuition and let your curiosity be piqued with this vertiginous perfume. Capturing a light-hearted rush of inquisitiveness, Nina Le Parfum entices you to discover its fragrance. A woody fruity floral scent that inspires you to open your imagination and chase your wildest dreams. Embodying the most alluring of forbidden fruits, Nina Le Parfum tempts with the mouth-watering freshness of an uplifting apple trio.

“With Nina Le Parfum, we wanted to capture the temptation of forbidden fruit with a trio of natural apple extracts, which is given body with warm amber wood. A surprising and daring Eau De Parfum to mark a new era for the iconic Nina perfumes.” –Olivier Cresp, Master Perfumer – Ilias Ermenidis, Perfumer

Nina Le Parfum features 91% ingredients of natural origin, including natural apple extract and upcycled lemon. Additional notes include gardenia, orange blossom, tuberose and vanilla.

Nina Ricci Nina Le Parfum is available in 30, 50 and 80 ml Eau de Parfum.

Wow, flashback! My sister wore the original way back when. I liked it on her but she did use it to cover smoke. I do have a small bottle and it’s not as bad as some in this genre.

There are now quite a few flankers to choose from. I liked the pale green color of the Nina Nature.

I have a fondness for the original, which I’ve never worn but have smelled on many people. I remember it as apple with burnt sugar. I don’t remember the apple part at all but the burnt sugar was smoky and … chewy? That’s just my memory. I’d love to smell this, recognizing it may bear no relation to the original.

With Gardenia and Tuberose. Hmm. Fun bottle, but I am always suspicious when the website mentions the bottle first, pictures poppies rather than apples, gardenias or tuberoses, and shows us the notes almost as an after thought. But I am exhausted from packing, so I might not be pleased with anything tight now!
