It's Monday, Anne Frank’s birthday, the World Day Against Child Labor, Superman Day and International Falafel Day. What fragrance are you wearing?
I'm trying Providence Perfume Co Magnolia Mist...and taking points since I can see 3 magnolia trees from my house.
Reminder: on 6/16 we're doing Close to Home...wear a perfume that comes from a local maker, or has your location in its name or backstory, or maybe uses a ingredient/ plant that is native to your area, or interpret this howsoever you like. Suggested by Kanuka.
And for those of you who like to plan ahead, see Scent of the day ~ Friday community projects 2023, where I'll try (but usually fail) to have the next five or six weeks mapped out in advance.

Hi! Thanks again for all your kind comments last week. The weekend was quiet in my area.
For this CP, I wanted to wear at least one Ukrainian perfume, but I only have one sample by a Ukrainian house, and unfortunately I do not like that perfume. Sweden was my home for a year, and I happen to have one Swedish sample I enjoy, but I wanted to wear something Ukrainian too. So I decided to wear “yellow” and “blue” scents this week, since these are the colors of both Ukrainian and Swedish flags. What makes a perfume “yellow” or “blue” is very subjective – it can be the notes, color of the juice, yellow or blue in the name… Up to me.
Today I am wearing Serge Lutens Des Clous Pour Une Pelure for blue and Sylvaine Delacourt Virgile for yellow. SL because of the color of the juice, and Virgile because yellow (and white) is the color associated with vanilla. And the juice’s color is yellow, too.
I think spicy orange from Des Clous goes very well with aromatic vanilla. I like this combo.
Just curious–what is the Ukrainian house?
BZ Parfums. Some years ago, I attended a meeting with the owner/nose of the house (Bohdan Zubchenko). He was friendly and enthusiastic, and I enjoyed testing his perfumes. Too bad the only sample I have (got it from someone else later) does not work for me.
Glad you are safe.
That is a great idea with the colors for the CP this week!
Glad to hear that you had a quiet weekend.
Love that approach to the cp! And “quiet in my area” is fantastic news. Hope it will stay that way.
Good morning all.
Northeastern air quality had been much better this past week – so far. I hope everyone else is staying safe or is unaffected by it.
Methinks I shall wear some good ol’ Coco Chance later today. Let’s go big or go home, amirite?
Have a nice week! 🙂
Go big!
Much better here too, plus we finally got some rain so hopefully that will lessen the pollen as well.
I was going to do a week of licorice, just because I felt like it, and then I went and put on Guerlain Anisia Bella, and surprise! I don’t like it any more. Or didn’t like it at that moment, anyway: I’m sure it hasn’t changed, but something about it struck me as drastically wrong, so I scrubbed it off and put on some Tauer Lonestar Memories, which, thankfully, I do still love, that resinous campfire-plus-leather smell.
I had a similar experience with Anisia Bella. I wanted to like it because I love licorice/anise in fragrance but as you said, there was something wrong with it, at least on me.
Capsule Legion and Rodin Bis are two of my favorite anise fragrances.
I loved Anisia Bella for a while. After revisiting my decant several times, it just didn’t work for me anymore. I was glad to rehomed it.
La Panthère Légère from a generous NSTer
I would say the far fetched connection is that the Cartier decorations during the holidays on their 5th ave store is my favorite. They usually have a cat climbing the side of the store. I also have a thing for big cats. My favorites, to no surprise, are my lions in front of the library I volunteer at. Those are my boys! love them
I am reading Sunday in Ville-d’Avray. So far so good. A short book but has a lot of meat.
Today will be a great day because I am taking a girlfriend for her first time to Fishs Eddy. It’s a cute shop, a bit funky flatware dishes store. I love the cheap china in the back and all my cappuccino cups come from the back. If the kids break one it’s not a big deal.
Have fun with your friend!
Glad you like the book.
Did you recommend this one? Someone on here did for sure…
I can almost have a separate list for NST book recommendations.
What are you reading now?
https://www.harvardreview.org/book-review/land-of-snow-and-ashes/
https://groveatlantic.com/book/so-shall-you-reap/
I have just finished these two novels
Land of Snow and Ashes is a Finnish novel set in Lapland around WW2, and deals with the Nazi slaughter of the Sami people and it’s aftermath.
So Shall You Reap is set in post-Covid Venice and is a police thriller, but slower and better than average
The one that takes place in Venice will go on my list
One of my favorite shops–hope you and your friend enjoy!!
I’m wearing Hermann A Mes Cotes, just because I love it. I really need to invest in the bigger bottle, having only bought the 1 oz. bottle.
I almost pulled that one out today.
Today I am wearing Eau de Celeri of Mon Sillage, perfumer Isabelle Michaud from my city, Montreal. It is really fresh, unique and unusual in a good way. I also love her soaps, her violet soap is to die for.
Staying at home and doing chores around the house.
Ooh, I didn’t know Monsillage! No stockists west of Alberta, but I love a good violet soap & can always order online. 🙂 Enabler pin!
I have a bottle of that and love it in the summer. Fresh, crisp and dry. Wears so well in the heat.
I also love her soaps – she makes one in a chypre scent, which perfectly captures that category. 💛
Oh, I think it might have been the chypre soap that I’ve used and liked!
The violet soap is awesome, I have bars in my dresser drawers.
Great to know! I’ve had that soap in my basket for awhile.
And I might end up with some in my cart 🙂
I love Eau de Celeri and think you smelled great today! You also reminded me that I’ve used one of their soaps before but can’t recall which one. It wasn’t the violet one though.
I’m in OJ Woman for its hemlock note. We have a wooded area at the bottom of our yard, and my favorite tree there is a hemlock, so about as close to home as I can get!
Nice.😊
Thank you all for the encouragement on the weekend poll!
I will need to give the CP some thought. Annie Oakley perfumes are made near me and I think I have a couple of samples if I can find them. Today I’m wearing Bond 9 Silver Factory just because.
ohhh you smell wonderful!
I have been to the Annie Oakley shop/factory! It was fun to visit. I also have a couple of her scents, gifted to me by relatives.
I decided to do US perfumes for the cp and I will save my regional picks for later in the week.
Today I’m in Glossier You. I’m excited because it’s my last week of work before vacation next week. My daughter leaves for camp on Sunday and I took the following week off intentionally so that instead of dreading her departure, I would be looking forward to my vacay. Pretty smart, huh? lol. I had hoped to visit with my parents for a few days but their return home from florida has been delayed so I have had to revise my plans. I’m heading over to the twin cities area to visit my maternal auntie and cousin. I’m super excited, we haven’t had a visit that hasn’t been tied to some life event in ages. No funeral, no graduation, no birthday party, just a nice relaxed visit. I’m book ending my visit with them with overnights at my old alma mater, and a visit with my son.
Counting the days!🌞
Just a nice relaxed visit! Here here!!!! It sounds like a vista of visits to look forward to.
Funny you should use the word vista, because the drive from my alma mater up to the cities is truly beautiful. It hugs the Mississippi, so the river is on one side and the ginormous bluffs on the other. I look forward to the trip almost as much as the visit!
That is a smart idea! Sounds like a very nice trip.
I hope it will be!😊
Excited to see what you will do for midwestern perfumes! Hope you have a lovely trip!
Thanks! Keep your eyes peeled for Thursday and Friday.😉
Safe travels!
Thanks Kris!
Enjoy your vakay!
Thanks Jalapeño- will do!👍
TDC Bois d’Iris today. Last Friday I went to a friend’s house for dinner, and she had her irises as the centerpiece on her table. I’m clueless about plants so that’s as close as I can get!
Ha, anything works! Plus you smell great.
I knew about DSH being Colorado based and I could do a whole month of Dawn’s work, but through google and etsy I have discovered that Margot Elena (TokyoMilk, Lollia, etc), Wit and West, Aether Arts, Fleur de Livvy and Zents are also here. Clearly, I need to order some samples. SOTD is Lollia Relax
Did you know that she started in Cambridge? I remember the tiny shop she used to have in The Garage in Harvard Square. So long ago….
I thought she started on Newbury St, though I had a few blends done at that that little place on the stair landing in the Garage
Essence on Newbury Street was where my sister and I found DSH where she was just known as “Dawn”.
I remember Essence, too. Could be that I’m getting them confused.
My area is full of summer fresh fruit with all the orchards nearby. I’m in an Oil Perfumery version of Lost Cherry. Our local cherries should be available soon! 🍒
I’ve had good experiences with Oil Perfumery. How do you like their Lost Cherry?
I really like it; one of my most-used from Oil Perfumery! Although I never smelled the Tom Ford so I can’t say how close it is.
I’ve had great experiences too. Their Dior Addict is also quite good.
I need to check the Oil Perfumery version of Lost Cherry. My travel size of the Tom Ford has few drops left. An alternative will be more than enough to replace it.
If you do get an OP version, I’d love to hear what you think as to how it compares to the Tom Ford.
Sending you hugs, m. You’ve been in my thoughts a lot recently.
Not quite cherry season here, but looking forward to it! 😋🍒
Seriously! The only fruits that tops cherries for me are nectarines and raspberries (oh, and blackberries)!
I’m wearing my sample of Histoire d’Orangers by L’Artisan Parfumeur, a delicate orange blossom and white musk. It reminds me in a good way of guest soap my grandmother had.
I think you smell great! I have the soap of this scent-well, it’s a shower gel and I also use it as a hand soap. It’s a beautiful take on the orange blossom theme.
You smell great! Histoire d’Orangers is a great perfume. One of my favorites from L’Artisan.
I hate alarm clocks. Even if it is Alexa waking me up to the sound of whales.
SOTD is G&B Ingenious Ginger. Love this one. Ginger Piccante had no lasting power for me but this one does.
grumble grumble, back to work.
Oooh, hopefully I get my sample of this from LuckyScent!
Sorry you had to get up today apsara!
Sotd is Olympic Orchids Woodcut – Ellen Covey is in the Seattle area and I know her fragrances are a favorite of many here.
I sampled Woodcut recently and really enjoyed it! Might grab a lil bottle from her.
Night Flyer is one that I also find interesting but too mineralic for me to wear.
SOTD is my last drop of my sample of Guerlain Iris Ganache. Thanks very much again to hajusuuri for a chance to discover this gem! This and SDV has given me a lot of appreciation for how Guerlain handles vanilla in that effortless airy way.
I really love this weeks theme. I have lived in many cities so the concept of home is ever changing. I think I’ll do North American and Malaysian brand/ingredients. Candidates:
– Agar Aura Malayaku – inspired by Malaysia and made entirely of local ingredients
– Malaysian oud oils – especially A. Malaccensis oils
– Glossier You – New York City cult favorite (thanks madtowngirl for reminding me of this)
Update on body odor struggles last week: As it turns out, it’s not me but my laundry. Clothes smell clean out of the dryer but start to sour as they are being worn. Bleach, oxyclean and extended dryer times are helping. I’m not sure if they have always smelled this way and I only started noticing it recently, or if something has changed with my laundry situation. It’s bizarre but I feel better knowing the root of this issue. I should ask my friends if they smell anything different from me but I am too shy.
I love to scent my clothes with neutral perfumes, like vanilla, musk etc, sometimes i leave scented handkerchiefs in my drawers.
A lovely idea! I usually try to keep my clothes unscented so they don’t interfere with perfume but maybe some musk will be unobtrusive enough.
SO. I have a perfume made in Penang! Sadly, it is not my favorite juice, but I love it for the memories of a fun afternoon hanging out with the young perfumer. Wasn’t sure if I was going to be in CP compliance today–but I’m gonna hop onto your theme train for the afternoon in Josh Lee’s Oud.
oh I have heard of Josh Lee! what a sweet memory — how did y’all meet? Penang Island is lovely, I used to visit often 🙂
My father and his wife have a flat near George Town (they live in Singapore when they aren’t in Penang). They knew about him and introduced us. It is a weirdly small island despite the population size. People always know people :-)!
That’s so intriguing about the clothes. Have you changed the type of clothes/fabric you’re wearing lately? Like more synthetic fibers? I’ve noticed that certain fibers cling onto odors and musty-ness more. Also, they make sport washes that are great at removing odors. Meant for sport clothing, but I even use it for towels!
Ohh which sport wash do you use? I would like that for towel and blankets too, those never seem to get clean enough.
It’s really bizarre! I haven’t changed my detergent (Tide Free and Clear) in years and I always wear mostly naturals, especially cotton. It’s really bizarre because I can smell it on clothes that I haven’t worn in awhile either, so maybe the combination of the weather and increase nose sensitivity is contributing. I have been spending a lot of time smelling aromachemicals (esp musks) lately, maybe is related.
The only clothes that are odor free are my dry cleaned ones — those are always impeccable. My dry cleaner doesn’t use a scented wash fortunately.
It’s called Nathan sport wash. In an orange bottle; I’ve bought it at sporting goods stores and online, never seen it in a general store. It’s not cheap so I only use it for active wear and when towels get stinky.
I owe you an enabler pin! You posted an interview with Nathalie Larson about the perfume note she sometimes wears ( I can’t remember it’s name now) and the making of Love Tuberose and I was curious about the chantilly cream note so blind bought.
Oooh I’m excited to hear your experience of it! It really sounds lovely.
Laundry detergent can be reformulated, too.
Have you considered putting baking soda (aka bicarbonate of soda) in with your laundry detergent for “defunking” purposes?
hmm good point, i did refill my laundry detergent recently…
I tried 4 loads with baking soda, vinegar, oxi clean and bleach each to test efficiency of deodorization. only bleach seemed to work well enough, so is suspect its the bacteria i need to kill and not just to deodorize.
I’ve had a similar issue in the past and it turned out to be my washing machine. It is a front loader and the filter was partially clogged (with one of Mr. Vee’s collar stays). As a result, it was draining slowly and developed some mold/mildew that was impacting our clothes because the clean rinse wasn’t really clean. If you google your washing machine model number and “how to clean filter” you can probably find instructions on how to check.
You make an excellent point about front loading washers. I have one and always keep the front door open when it is not in use. I also wipe down the gasket and front door after every cycle.
I have the same problem with thick pile bath towels. I switched to thin waffle style towels for myself which solved the problem, but from what I can tell it seems to be a recurrent problem with front-loaders. Some say it’s better to use liquid detergents, others like powder. I use liquid. Also, with front loaders you must leave the door open all the time so it dries out between cycles and doesn’t grow mold. You also need to clean frequently around the gasket and check the filter like Vee suggests.
You can experiment – for similar clothes you washed and dried in the same load, mist one and let it dry naturally. Wear the other one and see if you get the same funk. I keep my laundry rules simple (front loaders for wash and dry): wash lights and darks separately; towels / sheets / blankets go on high temps and no softeners / laundry sheets ever when drying towels; vinegar in the rinse cycle for all wash (1 part vinegar to 2 parts water).
I’ve got plenty of options because there are a good number of Pacific Northwest brands. Today I’m in Juliet by Sweet Anthem for jasmine, mango, pink pepper, clove, tobacco, and musk. The company used to be based in Seattle but is now based in Portland after being sold some years ago. Here’s Kevin’s review of Juliet: https://freebox.it.com/2014/06/04/sweet-anthem-juliet-fragrance-review/%3C/a%3E%3C/p%3E
I’ve got a 3 day work week since my partner and I both took off Thursday and Friday for his 40th birthday. With Juneteenth next Monday, we’ll have a 5 day weekend!
Have fun on your week-long weekend!
Thanks, Ann!
FREEBIE
Also! A little something to chase the Monday blues away. I have TWO freebie boxes of samples to give away! Each box has 20-30 samples and decants of both niche and designer scents. Some are used but most have a few wears at least. There are too many perfumes to list, so take them as mystery boxes 🙂
Email me at: me /at/ pir a tefs h /dot/ net (without spaces) to claim 🙂
CONUS preferred, international OK if you are can contribute shipping costs.
one box claimed! one more left 🙂
I kind of misremembered the CP this morning and was too lazy to go to Robin’s list and check. Thus, I am in Cristalle Eau Verte because it reminds me of a place (Rome) where I wore it frequently. I cannot really claim Rome as “home,” but I did live there for a total of about eight months (two x four-month stints).
The Iris comments are giving me ideas for the rest of the week — we have Iris and peonies in bloom right now in the garden.
The iris is already finished here, now we’re into wild roses. I think I will look for a rose scent.
We finally got some rain last night and this morning. Making some chicken soup for dinner tonight since it’s a great day for it. I am wearing boat loads of Mitsouko edp today.
Boat loads of Mitsouko sounds wonderful, enjoy that soup.
Ditto on the “boat loads of Mitsouko.” Not what Jacques Guerlain imagined, but all the better for it!
Hmm, you smell fabulous!
Finally getting some much needed rain here late this afternoon. It’s smelling so good outside now.
I think I’m going to go with perfumes I bought locally (even if they aren’t made locally), so today I’m in ELdO Attaquer le Soleil because it was the first sample in my ELdO sample set from Scentrique, plus it’s a beautiful sunny day here (although this isn’t a sunny perfume, of course).
I may throw in an Ellen Covey perfume later this week, too. 🙂
That works perfectly!
Smoothie is mandarins and yogurt
Temps are definitely warming up and for the first time this year I was wearing Nuxe prodigieux le parfum today, and tonight it’s Cheirosa ’71.
Yay for warming temps!
Thank you Robin, and today is too much of a good thing as it’s warm and humid, not my favorite weather.
Hello everyone, It has been a while since I last posted. It has been very hectic and stressful lately. Mom is finally receiving hospice care at home. While the transition has been easy and smooth, I feel very stressed about it. Unfortunately, I have not been able to accept it yet. I am very sad and depressed, no matter how much support the program offers to family members. I wish I can eventually reach some peace and comfort in my life. It is just not happening now.
My perfumes are providing great comfort, at least. I have been wearing only new to me samples. That way I do not get any specific perfume associations with this period of my life. I am enjoying this perfume journey. It is more relaxing than thinking about what to wear from my collection.
I have been reading NST very late at night. It is a comforting reading at the end of/very beggining of the day.
Today, I am wearing Ann Gerard Rose Cut, a very pretty creamy rose, with soft sillage and moderate longevity. Very similar to Frederic Malle Lipstick Rose.
On my third cup of coffee and ready for my next work meeting in 30 minutes.
Happy Monday, everyone! 🌻
It’s so nice to hear from you, pl67! Any feelings you’re feeling right now are JUST RIGHT. Sending you lots of supportive hugs and keeping you and your mom in my thoughts.
Sending my best wishes to you, pl67. Sticking with samples sounds like the right mix of not associating your favorites with stress, while providing some necessary distraction.
So glad you posted, so sorry, a difficult situation, there is no right and wrong feelings. Sending hugs.
I’m sorry that this is such a difficult time for you. I hope you have some support from family and friends–other than all of us here. It is a major transition to try to cope with.
I was getting worried about you since you didn’t post last week, but I had a feeling you were busy with your mom. I can sure empathize with you. I remember my mom going into hospice and I wasn’t ready for it either. The staff was wonderful, and I was so thankful for them. It is a difficult time, but we are here for you. Hugs.
Nice to see you. I hope you can gain some comfort and acceptance from spending simple, quiet and peaceful time with your mother, knowing she is receiving good care.
waving hello
Sending peaceful thoughts for you and your mom
hugs
Sending love and light…this is always a difficult time, but try to enjoy the lovely moments with your mom that you do have.
Sending you any peace and comfort I have.
I am glad you posted.
Special place in heaven for hospice and caregivers.
One day at a time, pl67. My thoughts are with you.
Sending peace and comforting thoughts for you and your Mom as you navigate through this difficult time.
It’s a difficult step to take, placing a loved one in hospice care. Hugs. Eventually, peace and acceptance will come. It may take a while, though.
Very nice to see you, PL67. Sorry to hear your mom is on hospice but very glad the transition is smooth and you are getting help. Taking care of ailing parents is so difficult and you given her such love and devoted care. Sending you great big hugs which today smell like my sample of Mancera Tonka Cola. 😉
Sending you hugs of strength and comfort, PL67.
Ugh. I hate that feeling when I just cannot feel okay no matter what I think intellectually about what I am doing and what is going on. This is rough with your mum. I am sorry and hope you find peace soon. You are rocking this.
Sending you gentle hugs as you accompany your mother on this journey.
Thanks for posting this, pl67. There will be a light at the end of the tunnel, taking it a step at a time. Sounds like you have hit on the perfect plan for perfume-wearing. I hope it is some solace to you. Sending gentle hugs.
Glad you posted, pfl67. Going on hospice is a step, one day at a time. Hugs.
Gosh so hard. Hospice people are wonderful (the few I’ve known) but no, it doesn’t necessarily make it any easier. Thinking of you both and wishing you peace.
I figured you were busy with your mom, I’m sorry that you are in this final stage and I hope you are able to find some peace. You have done all you could as a daughter and your example has been very encouraging to me personally. Be sure to take care of yourself.
Another fun CP this week. I’m going to expand my definition of home to include the west coast of the U.S. and even then I might also have to do a couple days of following pfsh, since I’m from a neighboring part of Southeast Asia (and pfsh has sent me a sample of a Malaysian perfume!).
Today I’m wearing Mociun #2 from MCMC, inspired by northern California mountains.
My sorta-housewarming party was very fun this past Saturday, but I’m glad it’s over with. Things got really raucous before the kids left for the pool. The place is so tidy now I’m almost thinking I need to have another party, just not with 25 people! 😆
25 is a lot of clean up for / after! Really glad it was fun.
I’m wearing Pomelo Paradis this morning, and thinking about what to wear on Friday. I can go several ways.
I do too!
I might do a tuberose week-I’m in Carnal FLower today, from a sample, and it’s great. Kind of wish it was les $$$ so I could buy some. Also I have more perfume than I can use in this life, so I just don’t need it-I want it lol.
Hope everyone has a good day.
It is a wonderful scent.
During a brief, early period of British colonisation (1840-41) , New Zealand was part of the territory belonging to New South Wales ( Australia) , so NZ a was really a de facto extension of Australia, which meant Britain could begin to gain control as we would be under the authority of the Governor of NSW. It wasn’t until late 1840 that NZ became a seperate colony. So, I’m wearing Silky Wood, Goldfield and Banks
You smell lovely!
I have got a handful of perfumes made locally, but I’m in the mood for Ambre Eccentrico. I bought it in New Zealand, so I’m copying ockeghem’s interpretation.
That works!
For no reason I am wearing IA Fox in the Flowerbed today. It is a nice jasmine scent.
love that name
Sort of on point in vintage Chanel Cristalle–it came from my sister who worked behind the Chanel beauty counter at Bloomingdale’s way back in the ’80’s. Still smells amazing….started today with brunch with a dear friend. Made me so happy, I’m even okay with the car repair (and bill) that followed!!
Yay for vintage Cristalle and brunch with a friend!
Monday. Feh.
The replacement filter I ordered for my vacuum cleaner at the beginning of June arrived today. It’s the wrong part. I double and even triple checked before ordering. Phooey.
On the plus side, I had my first visit to the local farmers market yesterday. Picked up some truly delicious strawberries that didn’t even last a day, plus some other goodies including garlic scapes. Very happy to have seen those!
SOTD = still using Korres Guava lotion on my shins.
You have been wearing the Korres Guava lotion for so long, that I am very tempted to try it. Does it smell of guava or is it a fruity/beachy scent?
I wouldn’t call it either beachy or a typical fruity scent. For one of my favorites from Korres, it is surprisingly difficult to describe.
It pairs very nicely with Samsara. But as I recall, you and Samsara did not get along.
Thank you. If it pairs with Samsara, it is definitely a “No” for me.
🎉for farmers markets! Thanks for reminding me to put it on my calendar. 😉
I was looking forward to it SO much!
I don’t even know what garlic scapes are! Glad you enjoyed the farmers’ market.
https://www.thespruceeats.com/what-are-garlic-scapes-and-how-to-use-them-4783219
The short answer is: delicious! 🧄
Sampling Mancera Tonka Cola today and it’s not what I expected somehow. Yes, there is cola but it’s more spicy than sweet….more refined than I expected. Maybe I had low expectations eheheh 😉 when I go through a bad patch of niche samples from Luckyscent I get a bit jaded but this seems decently handled…no crazy strong aromachemicals and not too derivative.
Thanks for the review, I’ve been thinking about that one.
I’m wearing Grand Bal today, thanks to the generous SarahN. I’m claiming a CP point for the peach note and the delicious New Jersey peaches that should start appearing at my farmers market in a few weeks.
Tea today is black gunpowder. One of the few black teas (maybe the only) where I prefer the second infusion over the first. Which means I almost never have it because I have to “get through” the first infusion (as if that were a real burden! 😀 )
You smell great!
An idea! I have TF Bitter Peach!
SOTD = Tom Ford Lost Cherry
Gourmand! Not sure what the theme will be for me this week because where I live in NJ / work in NY are a wasteland of perfume makers. Perhaps I need to do more research but whiney me don’t want to. I’ll peruse my fellow NJ/NY peeps to see if anything inspires!
Maybe Le Labo, DS and Durga, Bond No.9
Or maybe people like Marc Jacobs, Michael Kors etc.
Sarah Jessica Parker
I’m humoring my inner child today and wearing large splashes of Avon Apple Blossom. Such a pretty, little bottle, and pretty, girly scent. For some reason, this always makes me think of childhood – I think it must have made a big impression on me when I learned that apple blossom was the state flower. Bizarre.
I’m tying it in to the CP because a few blocks away from me is a row of apple trees planted just inside a brick wall next to the sidewalk, over which the branches arch. I wait for the days when they bloom and take a walk of bliss. 😍
Sounds beautiful. We have some curb side apple trees in our neighbourhood and some of them have wonderful fruit
Nice of your neighbors to share! Nothing like a fresh-plucked 🍎.
I am wearing Zoologist Chipmunk today from the Splitmeet so not on the program.
Still have my cold and cough so I’m going to see my doctor tomorrow. 🙁
The CP will be a bit challenging. I might draw on our Texas proximity to Mexico and New Orleans. I’m going to wear Memo Marfa for sure!
Good to hear that you will be seeing a doctor about that cough.
Hope you get help and feel better soon.
