I read that a couple of times and still don’t understand if I can apply the oil to the dryer balls before use or not. The blends sound nice.

You’re right, the text isn’t clear. On their site, under the listings for dryer balls, they say “They will keep your clothes, soft, fresh and fragrant (when used with our woolzies essential oils) and best of all its chemical free!” so I was assuming the primary purpose was to scent your wool dryer balls.

Thanks! I probably won’t buy these but idea appeals to me.

I have wool dryer balls and I don’t know why I don’t put anything on them, but I don’t.

I really like the idea, but I’d be afraid a spot of wool would stain my clothes.

Umm, that would be spot of oil!

I know people scent wool dryer balls all the time, so I’m assuming that’s not likely, but since I don’t do it I have no idea!

So coincidentally I got a packet of three Woolzies essential oil blends a couple of weeks ago as part of a basket we won at a charity auction. One of the ways the packaging said I could use the oils was to dab them on a cotton ball and use the ball to scent a drawer etc. Short story long, I never got much scent off the cotton balls— the oils smell nice enough but didn’t really have much throw/sillage. Tidying up a few days ago, I just dumped all of the oil, from all three bottles, onto about ten cotton balls, which I tucked into a small pretty metal bowl with highish sides—high enough so that you can’t see the cotton balls when you are at eye level with the bookshelf where I placed the bowl in my office. The bowl looks nice, but I get zero scent off it. So, there’s that. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Oh interesting. Three whole bottles, nada…that is not compelling.
