Ellis Brooklyn Florist ~ new perfume

Posted by Robin on 4 March 2023 2 Comments

NY-based niche brand Ellis Brooklyn has launched Florist, a new citrus floral for women.

Sheer, modern, and beautiful, FLORIST eau de parfum is a celebration of the citrus floral. Featuring the enchanting, powerful tuberose, but approached in a sparkling new way, FLORIST pairs tuberose petals with Italian bergamot, golden gardenia, honeysuckle and jasmine in a stunning arrangement that lingers like a flower-tinted spring breeze.

***

"I love thinking of fine fragrance as creating your own personal, unique scent arrangement—like being a perfume FLORIST. I created this scent with [perfumer] Frank Voelkl, who I worked with before with APRÈS and SUN FRUIT. I've never been that floral perfume kind of person yet I love fresh bouquets in the house at all times. That's the intention behind FLORIST— capturing that joyfulness and beauty of fresh blooms." - Bee Shapiro

Additional notes include lemon, lily of the valley, pear, cedar, sandalwood and ambrox.

Ellis Brooklyn Florist is available in 10 ($32) and 50 ($108) ml Eau de Parfum.

I have tried very hard with this brand to find one I love. Sci- fi has come close, but they all lose me at the drydown. I will try it when I see it though.
