DS & Durga Steamed Rainbow ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 1 March 2023 5 Comments

Indie brand DS & Durga has launched Steamed Rainbow, a new fragrance.

I've wanted to make something that smelled like a rainbow for a long time (especially inspired by Terry Riley's A Rainbow In Curved Air). The concept is to use materials of every color in the rainbow in a certain proportion that is softened in the humid air of their abode. Now you can wear rainbows. Wait 'til you sniff how delicate they are. -D.S.

**

ROYGBIV reflections on soft weightless water steaming upwards forever fresh.

The notes include red mandarin, orange, elemi, cedar, almond blossom, indigo grass, violet, vetiver and vapors.

DS & Durga Steamed Rainbow is available in 50 ($190) and 100 ($280) ml Eau de Parfum.

They seem on a roll lately, 5th release in 3 months time? Would try though, sounds interesting!

Indeed they appear to be making hay while the sun shines 🙂

In the case of this Rainbow scent, they are trying to make hay just as the sun has reappeared.

I don’t like that hat-tipping picture. It creeps me out. A lot.
