The daily lemming

Posted by Robin on 7 February 2023 8 Comments

From Lush, Rose Lollipop lip balm: "Our romantic floral lip balm has a light rose-lemon flavor to lift your mood and beautiful butters to protect your pout. Formulated with nourishing shea and cupuaçu butters, Rose Lollipop also pays homage to its namesake flower with rose oil and rose water to soothe dry or chapped lips." $13.50 for 12g.

I have this lip balm and really like it. It does have a slightly waxy consistency, so if that’s not your thing, beware.

I think they must have changed their formulation, because when I had this a few years ago, it instantly melted into an oil upon application, not waxy at all — just the opposite. I really liked it, but I would not be at all surprised if it had changed.

Waxy is good for my eternally chapped lips- gotta have a protective layer that sticks!

I go for a little wax in my lip balm too. It extends the wear IMHO.

I wonder if it is better than the honey one from Nuxe.
    Sounds really nice.

No idea, although Nuxe also has a rose one. I think it smells like vanilla though.
