The daily lemming

Posted by Robin on 30 January 2023 4 Comments

The second set of limited edition collector bottles from the latest capsule collection for Louis Vuitton by Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama. It's the same three fragrances as the first drop (Spell on You, L’Immensité and Attrape-Rêves; see the first set here) but in lively graphic designs, including the artist's pumpkin motif for L’Immensité, instead of the Kusama Dots. Due to launch in March. I don't know the price but the first set were $365 each. You can read more (and see an image of the Kusama decorations for the Louis Vuitton flagship store) at Vogue.

p.s. wanted to add that when I chose the pumpkin image for the sotd yesterday, I did not know Vogue would publish this today. Almost makes it look like I am stumping for Louis Vuitton.

Anyway, I have a small poster of a Kusama pumpkin, in orange and pink, above my bed and so wouldn’t that bottle of L’Immensité look great on my dresser?

      100%!

I usually don’t get pulled towards limited edition graphic bottles, but these are just lovely. However, I have no idea if the w are any good, so 🤷🏻‍♀️.

I don’t have any idea either, and I wouldn’t pay that for them anyway. I just love the designs.

Also, if I’d just bought one of the polka dot bottles, I’d be really pissed to see these a couple months later.
