Anatole Lebreton Brioche ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 2 December 2022 13 Comments

French niche line Anatole Lebreton has launched Brioche, a new gourmand fragrance.

Brioche: a homemade creation by Anatole Lebreton, kneaded with generosity and sprinkled with comfort. An addictive and indulgent fragrance that celebrates the genuine things: the gentleness of home, the delectable indulgence of pastry, the nurturing gourmandise of homemade treats.

Bursting with the warm, gourmet whiff of the oven, this is a perfect brioche- a golden crust, a soft crumb, covered in a mouthwatering spoonful of crystallizing honey which softens the composition and provides depth and lonevity. Wheat bran offers cereal facets to create an addictive layer, supplemented with sandalwood, hay, and buttery notes.

Additional notes include tonka bean.

Anatole Lebreton Brioche is a limited edition (180 bottles were made and apparently it is already sold out at some stores). It can be found now at Luckyscent, $125 for 50 ml Eau de Parfum.

Note that Aus Liebe zum Duft in Germany also seems to have it in stock.

Anatole Lebreton sold out at their web shop, all via pre-order.

I think of myself as a baker. If this doesn’t have that awful artificial butter note, it might be right up my alley.

I hate blind buying, but seems possible people will order samples and then it will sell out before they can buy a bottle. 🙁

But I still won’t blind buy it.

            Always the right choice.

What is that artificial butter note? I smell it and immediately feel nauseous. Sorry, tmi, many people must like it or it wouldn’t be in so many perfumes and candles…

    Pity it’s a limited edition, I’d get a sample if it wasn’t.

      Hi from the future.
Brioche has gone back to the stock on the official website and has no longer mentioned ‘limited’. So I guess it is in the regular line now.

It sounds tempting, but I figure, eh, I’ve got SL Jeux de Peau.

Limiting it to only 180 bottles worldwide seems pretty mean in this day and age. It’s not a Bugatti, it’s a bottle of liquid.

Totally agree….I mean Why? Why only do a limited edition. I like his work but I’m not chasing any perfume.

I was seriously considering buying a bottle but luckyscent sold out this afternoon. More like Unluckyscent!
