The daily lemming

Posted by Robin on 3 November 2022 10 Comments

From L'Occitane for Holiday 2022, limited edition Shea Golden Latte Shower Foam: "Bring the coffee shop to your shower with the lush lather of cozy Shea Golden Latte Shower Foam. Cleanse skin with a nourishing blend of shea. Warm, creamy notes of nutmeg essence, citrus bergamot, milky sandalwood and curcuma extract (turmeric) complement a light foaming texture for a moment of luxury." $20 for 200 ml at L'Occitane USA, where you'll also find more body products in the same fragrance. (And the other fragrance for this season is the Green Chestnut.)

I might actually go give it a sniff, the green chestnut sounds really appealing too.

From the person who thinks nothing of “8 sprays”, I have found some L’Occitane products to have a strong smell so much so that I can’t use them. Among others, I am looking at the Shea Butter Shower Cream.

I layer many shower gels so I don’t mind 🙂

Ironically, I often wear less than 1 spray. We are evil twins, apparently!

Interesting. There are a couple of their scented hand creams (pretty much the only one of their products that I regularly use) the scent of which I find both overpowering and unpleasant: the almond hand cream, and the whipped Shea hand cream. On the other hand, the cherry blossom handcream is one of my favorites of all time.

I literally spit out my coffee. Thank heavens they inserted the word “latte” into that unfortunately named product! I mean I just can’t.

ZOMG. I did NOT notice that until you pointed it out. Now I can’t unsee it!

HA. I had the exact same response, Kelly Red. What Were They Thinking?

Whereas it too me a minute to even figure out what you were talking about 😉
