The daily lemming

Posted by Robin on 17 October 2022 7 Comments

From the Winter Charms collection at Cire Trudon, Felice: "A combination of citrusy, spicy and fruity notes, Felice ties citrus and Christmas spices together: hints of vanilla and honey add sweetness to gourmet scents of candied fruits and nutmeg. A true Christmas gift, the Felice scented candle is festive at heart: with a shining star, champagne bottle, sparkling ring and notes of music, celebrations are in order!" $145 for 270g at Trudon.

I am a huge sucker for any holiday scented candles. Fir? Yes. Spice? Yes. Themed vessel? Yes. >$50? Nooooo 🙁

It’s a very pretty container, I like the cranberry color. BUT Thymes Fraser Fir is one of the best pine scents IMHO,and a good price to boot! I’ll stick with Thymes.

No spice though, just crisp fir.

The price is high, although it’s also a big candle. But for sure you can find cheaper 🙂

I bought the Bayonne candle last year, it was sooo good. The Diptyque Étincelles candle this year sounds a bit similar, will go check it out Fridzy at Nordies.

Good to know! There are 5 candles in this series this year, they all sound good.

Fruitcake in a candle! I wonder if this will get passed around, too. 😅
