The daily lemming

Posted by Robin on 14 October 2022 6 Comments

A budget(-ish) option for shimmer, if you don't want to shell out for the Maison Francis Kurkdjian or Chanel models: L'Occitane's Shea Green Chestnut Shimmering Body Oil / Huile Scintillante Karité Chestnut. "This nourishing formula is enriched with shea oil to help soften skin, while leaving behind a delicate, iridescent finish. Our limited edition Green Chestnut holiday scent lightly perfumes skin with the fresh, invigorating aroma of an autumn forest. Celebrate with festive notes of fresh magnolia and chestnut delight, wrapped in warm vanilla, cedarwood and fir balsam." $48 for 100 ml at L'Occitane USA, where you'll also find tons of other products in the Green Chestnut fragrance (hand cream, shower cream, lip balm, bath bomb, scrub, body cream, etc).

Just to be clear about the “budget(-ish)”, this is actually more expensive per ml than the Chanel.

I was going to say, this feels pricier than I usually think of l’Occitane as being….

I am often surprised by the prices in L’Occitane. Then again, it is easier to find mark downs / offers with L’Occitane than it is with Chanel.
