Eilish No. 2 by Billie Eilish ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 29 September 2022 12 Comments

Billie Eilish will launch Eilish No. 2 in November. Eilish No. 2 follows the singer songwriter's debut fragrance, 2021's Eilish.

I wanted it to just be the more masculine kind of spicier, darker, less comfortable scent. It was really inspired by rain and water and the kind of world of just like dark and wet feelings. That was a big thing. I wanted it to be spicy and feel pretty gender neutral and fluid. I just wanted it to feel like really, kind of the opposite of how Eilish feels, where Eilish is very sweet and vanilla and cozy and makes you feel really warm, like you're sitting by a fireplace cuddling. And I wanted Eilish No.2 to be like, you're like having the most passionate kiss in the rain of all time, you know?

The notes include apple blossom, bergamot, papyrus, black pepper and palo santo.

Eilish No. 2 by Billie Eilish will be $72 for 100 ml. (Based on the sizes for the first fragrance, it will probably also be available in 10, 30 and 50 ml.)

Uh, “more masculine” and “gender neutral”? Passionate kiss in the rain, dark and wet feeling? Sure, this makes a lot of sense.

More masculine than Eilish No. 1, thus moving towards unisex? That’s my guess.

First version was pretty but a little too sweet for me maybe a bit generic too. Anyway it has its fans and this new one being more gender neutral might be more appealing to those who liked the fragrance but found it too sugary

Sounds like that is the plan.

I still hate the bottle, not that I’m the target audience or anything.

I hate the “partially decapitated torso” perfume bottle trend! Knock it off people!
