The Body Shop Blue Musk & Blue Musk Zest ~ new fragrances

Posted by Robin on 9 August 2022 7 Comments

The Body Shop has launched two new unisex fragrances, Blue Musk and Blue Musk Zest.

Blue Musk ~ Aromatic woody; a redo of White Musk for Men. "This twist on a classic features an intriguing blend of fresh lavender, opulent geranium and creamy sandalwood alongside our signature cruelty-free musk. The velvety notes are infused with natural vetiver oil from Haiti, for a comforting, woody scent that leaves you feeling empowered and uplifted. Previously known as White Musk® for Men, our Eau De Toilette is now renamed Blue Musk, because our fragrances are designed to be worn by anyone and everyone. Who doesn’t love smelling great? Wear it on its own when you want to feel inspired, or layer it up with other products from the Blue Musk range for a longer lasting scent."

Blue Musk Zest ~ Fresh citrus. "Say hello to our freshest and brightest musk yet. Blue Musk Zest is a lively blend of citrus notes, featuring fresh grapefruit, green lemongrass and bright geranium. Spritzing it onto your skin immediately uplifts and invigorates you, giving you a confidence boost so you can express your true self. The formula also contains our signature cruelty-free musk, alongside a blend of natural sweet orange, lemon and grapefruit oils."

The Body Shop Blue Musk and Blue Musk Zest are available in 60 ml Eau de Toilette; Blue Musk is also sold in 100 ml Fragrance Mist. Matching body products are also available.

Because nothing says “zesty” like musk? 🤷‍♀️

Well, white musk + citrus is really most citrus fragrances these days, right?

True. I have a hard time wrapping my head around musk being zesty, fresh or otherwise bright. Lol. Not creative thinking on my part I admit.

Well, it’s easy to forget there’s musk of one sort or another in nearly every fragrance made 🙂

I cursed Body Shop decades ago when they discontinued their fragrance oils. The Wood Musk oil was PERFECTION.

It was perfection! I also mourn the strawberry oil.
