Issey Miyake A Drop d’Issey Fraiche ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 12 May 2022 4 Comments

Issey Miyake has launched A Drop d'Issey Fraîche, a new fragrance for women. A Drop d'Issey Fraîche is a flanker to 2021's A Drop d’Issey.

A Drop d’Issey Eau de Parfum Fraiche reflects upon the tranquil beauty of nature, an aquatic freshness reminiscent of soft rain and flowers. A gentle rain accord opens the fragrance, allowing for an aquatic purity. The heart features a blend of lilac and aquatic notes for a fantastical accord. The base concludes with the creamy nature of rich sandalwood.

A Drop d'Issey Fraîche was developed by perfumer Ane Ayo (who also did the original). Additional notes include rose, ambrox and cedar.

Issey Miyake A Drop d'Issey Fraîche is available in 30, 50 and 90 ml Eau de Parfum.

I personally can’t wear aquatic or lilac, but that sure is a cute little bottle.

It really is! Looks much better in this color, too.

I am currently wearing A drop and I really like it. I wish it had less ambrox and more projection. I love lilac.
Not sure about this new version as I can’t stand aquatic. L’eau d’Issey literally makes me sick.
Why did they have to discontinue le Feu ?

Le Feu is the big question!
