Yes…and it is unseasonably cold and grey here, AGAIN.
Blah, we got icy rain last night here in Minneapolis. Today is also gray, drippy and cold. I used the last drops of Baccarat Rouge to cheer me up.
And a very pretty and striking bottle! Love the red. I use Monoi Tiki Tahiti in its tacky drugstore looking bottle lol, but I hide the bottle. This one I’d put right out there.
It is nice, and the travel size might be handy.
How long would one ounce of oil last if it is used all over the body?
Not very, even if you do use just a tiny amount. Hint: the Monoi Oil I mention above…$15 for 4 oz! ?
All their oils are great. They pack a good punch of fragrance! Elemis is a mainstay cruise ship spa brand – I recall them from my younger days working onboard. The “spa girls” always smelled incredible – the oil would permeate their uniforms so the fragrance would waft behind them wherever they went,

This Elemis Body Oil is super rich and not lightweight at all. It also has two unpleasant aspects. First, it solidifies in ambient room temperature and needs to be immersed in warm water in order to dispense it in your hand. It’s made of coprah which is the scientific name for coconut fat and will not be liquid except may be in July-August or if left out in the sun. Second the little metal tip that serves as a cap is actually a screw-on cap that’s very flimsy and very difficult to screw back on when your hands are greased up from this heavy oil.
I tried to like it but couldn’t make myself.

Definitely hate the cap… it has a tendency to come loose so it is definitely not travel friendly and needs to be stored upright. The bottle itself is clear glass- the dark amber brown color is a plastic label/coating that will eventually flake off and stick to just about anything.
On the plus side the fragrance is lovely and lasting. The oil is nice and absorbs well – a little goes a long way unless you are really dry. Worth the cap annoyance to me…
