Trussardi Le Vie di Milano x 6 ~ new fragrances

Posted by Robin on 28 March 2022 7 Comments

Italian brand Trussardi has added 6 new fragrances to the limited distribution luxury collection Le Vie di Milano: Alba Sui Navigli, The Courtyards of Castello Sforzesco, The Italian Artists of Via Solferino, The Paintings of Palazzo Reale, Walking in Porta Venezia and Walking On Via Fiori Oscuri.

Alba Sui Navigli (shown) ~ "A combination of bitter orange and petitgrain makes the cocktail sparkle. Juniper berry adds a delicious tart note to a splash of gin." Additional notes include lime, basil, spritz accord, ambroxan, vetiver and musk.

The Courtyards of Castello Sforzesco ~ "A love affair between the rose, the queen of flowers, and saffron, the king of spices. A touch of honey and incense blend in the warm drydown to celebrate opulence." Additional notes include bergamot, pink pepper, geranium, labdanum, benzoin and clearwood.

The Italian Artists of Via Solferino ~ "The first rays of the sun caress fragrant peonies and osmanthus. A joyful breeze of fresh watery notes is enhanced by the roundness of suede and patchouli." Additional notes include mineral accord, maté, yuzu, star magnolia, red ginger and heliotrope.

The Paintings of Palazzo Reale ~ "Intriguing Timut pepper blends with sweet, creamy almond milk. The addiction persists with the sophistication of oud. A tribute to the Milanese “rice and milk” dish." Additional notes include plum, date, gurjun balsam, honey, cardamom, olibanum, patchouli, vanilla and ambrostar.

Walking in Porta Venezia ~ "The aroma of star anise penetrates the “fée verte” and dives into the addictive, bohemian euphoria of absinthe." Additional notes include lemon, black pepper, artemisia, wormwood, geranium, violet leaves, patchouli, fir balsam, cedar and vanilla.

Walking On Via Fiori Oscuri ~ "Powdery yellow facets of mimosa fill the air with honeyed accents. Persistent rice powder envelops and completes the composition with vibrant energy." Additional notes include mandarin, bergamot, magnolia, rose, heliotrope, tonka bean, vanilla and vetiver.

Trussardi Alba Sui Navigli, The Courtyards of Castello Sforzesco, The Italian Artists of Via Solferino, The Paintings of Palazzo Reale, Walking in Porta Venezia and Walking On Via Fiori Oscuri are available in 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

Yeah, some of the bottles have black or silver caps and then you can see it’s a greyhound, but in gold, it’s a duck. Could have used a little focus-group testing, I think.

I think the greyhound is part of the brand’s logo, so they may just assume you know that 🙂
