Lancome Oui La Vie Est Belle ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 16 February 2022 11 Comments

Lancôme has launched Oui La Vie Est Belle, a new limited edition flanker to 2012's La Vie Est Belle. Oui La Vie Est Belle follows La Vie Est Belle Blanche, introduced in 2021.

Oui La vie est belle, the first sweet Iris enhanced by rose for Lancôme

Discover La vie est belle’s signature gourmand trail now wrapped in an exceptional & luminous floral bouquet.

The fragrance for women with an empowering message of joy inviting you to celebrate every moment and say yes to every opportunity.

Starifying Rose & Iris, the most exceptional flowers of perfumery

A luxurious fragrance bottle adorned with a golden firework of happiness

This new chapter of La Vie Est Belle keeps a zesty and colorful top of fruity notes. Bergamot sparkles under the fusing notes of Pink Pepper and combines with the raspberry accord for an explosion of juicy freshness. In the heart, the petal-like floral bouquet, generous and faceted, is sublimated by the rich notes of Damscena rose and sunny ylang ylang. In the base, patchouli, gourmand accord and iris are used in overdose to intensify the addictive and sensual signature of La vie est belle.

Additional notes for the gourmand fruity floriental include vanilla.

Lancôme Oui La Vie Est Belle is available in 30, 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum d'Exception.

Does this copy really say starifying?

I do sort of like the bottle, though, in a Jem and the Holograms kind of way.

Seriously, I would not make that up!

So far, Lancome does not have the scent on any of their English sites that I can find. Seems possible that the UK retailer did their own translation?

Got curious, looked at the French Lancome site. There’s nothing there that I can find that would be an obvious source. So maybe it is in their English press materials, we’ll see!

I hope you know I wasn’t questioning you personally! I secretly hope the translation is close, because it’s just so delightfully silly.

            No worries, I didn’t think so 🙂

I thought I wouldn’t be caught dead with anything La Vie Est Belle but I quite liked and have a FB of the LVEB Intensememt!

I have never been able to get interested in that scent. I had a coworker that bathed herself in it and have never liked it since.

“Starifying”? I saw that and said some non NST-safe words. ?
