Friday scent of the day 1/21

Posted by Robin on 21 January 2022 304 Comments

It’s Friday and Christian Dior’s birthday (also, International Sweatpants Day, and Dior can help you with that). Our community project for today: wear a Dior fragrance. (This is a repeat from 2014.)

What fragrance did you pick? As always, do chime in with your scent of the day even if you’re not participating in the community project.

The daily lemming

Posted by Robin on 20 January 2022 4 Comments

The latest linen spray from Frédéric Malle: "Following Dans Mon Lit, the first eau de lit for linens, radiating the refined and voluptuous charm of rose, Frédéric Malle brings us Dans Ton Lit, based around the enchanting, clean, sensual fragrance of orange blossom. For this composition Dominique Ropion set out from an enormous quantity of natural raw material, to which he added petigrain, lemon and bergamot, along with a dose of white musk to reinforce the magnetism of the orange blossom. A few sprays on the sheets and pillows, and Dans Ton Lit leads us delicately into the gentlest dreams or caresses…" £85 for 100 ml at Harvey Nichols. (Meanwhile, you can pick up Bruno Jovanovic's Dans Mon Lit at Nordstrom for $135.)
