Nina Ricci Nina Soleil ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 17 January 2022 9 Comments

Nina Ricci has launched Nina Soleil, a new limited edition flanker to 2006's Nina.

Summer in a bottle. Discover the new limited edition Nina Soleil, the light-hearted fragrance... Be ready to get a taste of summer!

Notes for the fresh citrus gourmand include mandarin, bergamot, chantilly cream, gardenia, vanilla and cedar.

Nina Ricci Nina Soleil is available in 50 ml Eau de Toilette (and possibly other sizes are coming as well).

Update: the description from Nina Ricci...

A new and enticing limited edition fragrance from Nina Ricci, the eau de toilette Nina Soleil celebrates an oh-so French guilty pleasure: Chantilly cream.

This lightly sweetened whipped cream delicately imbues the fragrance with a velvety, gourmand feel.

The zingy mandarin and bergamot accentuate its light freshness, whilst the luminous and powdery gardenia underscores its sweetness. Its charm is positively magnetic, particularly since a soft cedarwood and a decidedly appetising vanilla complete this infusion of delights.

They’ve made SO MANY flankers they’re running out of ideas.

It does look weird in that color, otoh I really do like the color — now I wish I had some other opaque banana-yellow bottle.

Bottle is strange; but yellow is one of my favorite colors, so gotta hand it to them…

Is the part with the stripes clear or translucent to see the juice?

I looked up more images. It is supposed to look like a bite was taken out of the apple.

No, you never see the juice. One size only – 50ml, it replaces last year’s limited edition – Nina Rose Garden.
And it smells very nice, like a summery bouquet of creamy gardenias..

I have recently seriously started investigating this house, and the apple collection has begun. The clear glass ones with the ladybug on the lea are so cute! I haven’t yet sniffed one that I didn’t like.
