Tauer Perfumes has launched Sundowner, a new unisex fragrance.
Surrender to the darkness of the night with a boozy cocktail and a good dose of velvety smoky happiness with the last sun on your cheeks.
And here some ingredients that actually make a difference and render Sundowner a harmonious experience: tobacco absolute, cocoa abs. and patchouli essential oil, rose absolute and orange peel oil. These naturals, together with bergamot oil and cinnamon essential oil, make up more than 30% of the composition.
Inspiration: The eau de parfum came by awe-inspiring moments when the sun reaches the horizon. Imagine sitting on the terrace on Elephantine Island in the middle of the river Nile near Aswan, enjoying the warmth of the evening sun, with your cocktail glass bursting in orange glitter. There is tobacco in the air. The sun disappears behind the horizon and the air is freshening up with cozy woody sweetness.
Additional notes include citrus sparkles, cypriol, sandalwood, tonka, amber gris and vanilla.
Tauer Perfumes Sundowner is available in 5 or 50 ml Eau de Parfum. You can purchase directly from Tauer, CHF 35 for 5 ml or CHF 139 for 50 ml, or at Luckyscent in the US, $160 for 50 ml.

Notes sound great but I’m going to be a Debbie Downer on the name. For those of us who have seen an older relative decline, “sundowning” evokes sadness of a descent into a shadow of his/her former self.
