I’m starting to find items like this, with these price points, frankly offensive. It now just seems to be a race among companies to put out extremely high prices no matter what the item. I get that it’s “Hermès”, but it’s a ? plastic tube! It’s hand cream. It’s become just a game to up the prices in the name of luxury.
Ok, off my soapbox (which does not cost $185) for the day, lol.

I’m with you. I don’t want a return to the days of sumptuary laws, but there is something ugly about this faux luxury, something unearned. They can do whatever they want, and something is worth whatever people are willing to pay, but we don’t have to like it.

Yes! This is just crazy. It’s hand cream, for goodness’ sake. I’ll stick to Bath and Body works if I want scented hand cream.

Agree it’s a game. Now somebody else will make a hand cream that costs even more, and possibly FM will raise their price.

Completely ridiculous price. Obviously their target market is those with more money than sense.

I am guessing the $67 lipsticks sold ok…the nail polish is $45. So people must be willing to pay those prices.

(And the Christian Louboutin nail polish is $50, so they’re not the worst. Tom Ford is a bargain, around $37.)

I had to upset myself so I looked, the nail polish is $74!! Nail polish! The classic example of, Louboutin is $50 so let’s make ours $74. This is what I mean by it’s just a race to up prices, not reflective of any real difference.

I remember the good old days when people used to complain about Tom Ford’s exorbitant pricing, now his stuff all seems middle market !

I won’t buy this but the FM Iris handcream is excellent.

And would be really surprised if it didn’t smell better than the Hermes. Nicer looking tube, too.

I like the luxury of having a luxurious hand cream any time I feel like using it. I can’t beat free, though ?
