Hello fellow NSTers!! You know what is the most “terrible” case with me? Yes all these jewels look beautiful and I personally own a couple exquisite pieces BUT jewelry NEVER got my blood pumpin’ hot like the perfume does…

I don’t care much about it either. And don’t like big diamonds in any case.

This literal translation as “high jewelry” is really bugging me!

Ha…I think they just mean it to contrast with the costume jewelry? But yeah.

I’m sure you’re right, but we’d usually say “fine jewelry.” I just hope Chanel doesn’t start referring to its clothing as “high cutting.” ?

Yes, were they using google translate? Haute joallerie is fine jewelry.

“High Jewelry” makes me think that the gemstones ought to be green colored, and shaped a little differently! ?

Actually, some of the stones are really gem-shaped edibles ?
