Lazy weekend poll ~ what’s in your shower, edition 6

Posted by Robin on 24 July 2021 234 Comments

July is drawing to a close, so it must be time for our annual shower census....do tell us about the scented products in your bath or shower! How many scented shower gels and/or bar soaps are in your shower right now? And do tell us the names / products. If you have any great scented products in other categories (hair care?) tell us about those too.

Or, as always, just talk about something else.

Things that were in my shower last year, and that I still have (or have replaced): Nesti Dante Emozioni in Toscana Villages & Monasteries bar soap, Shikai Yuzu shower gel (an oldie but goodie), St. Ives Pink Lemon and Mandarin Orange Exfoliating Body Wash (cheerful, cheap as chips).

New this year: The Body Shop Mango Bath Blend (mixes nicely with the Shikai Yuzu and that is how I usually use it), Alba Botanica Mega Moisture Coconut Milk shampoo and conditioner (too heavy for me, but I am using them up slowly), Garnier Fructis Damage Repairing Treat Shampoo + Papaya Extract (I love the smell but it doesn't do my hair any favors), Aveda Botanical Repair Shampoo and Conditioner (a splurge, but I adore the smell and it's also the best shampoo and conditioner I've ever used for my slightly dry, frizz-prone hair).

My shower gel game is weak at the moment — I need a trip to Lush! I am looking forward to hearing what you all have been using and loving.

Note: top image via Fireclay Tile, and shows their 3x6 Subway Tile "in calming Rosemary with contrasting grout".

I have Old Spice shower gel, Cremo Citron & Vetiver body wash, and Olay Age-defying body wash. I also am trying to transition to soap. I bought several, and I am currently using 1802 Beekman goat milk soap in Meadow Lark. It’s hard to get used to soap since I have been using body wash for decades.

I use soap only occasionally, and agree, it feels weird now. Why are you trying to go back to soap?

Mainly for the fact that there is less packaging. My tiny town does not have recycling, so I think soap packaging is better than a plastic bottle. Doesn’t Lush have package-free shampoo?

          Ah, good reason.

Yes, they have package free shower jelly thingies too.

I never got on the body wash train, so I’m still using bar soap, as I have for decades. I like that a bar of soap lasts for a long time. Whenever I tried using body wash or shower gel, I just seemed to use so much of it that a bottle never lasted long.

Me three. I won’t turn down wonderful-smelling shower gel that comes my way (e.g. Orange Verte minis from Fairmont Hotels), but I don’t buy it for myself because of the plastic packaging and because I find it dries out my skin. I much prefer goat milk soap, which I get at trader joes, or from various Etsy sellers when I want scented bars. Bonus: Most Etsy sellers will sell their “odds and ends” soap pieces at a discount, which I use as guest soap for overnight guests.

Love Shikai Yuzu, but am out at the moment. I’m slowly using up some C&E shower gel in the blue La Source scent, which I decanted into an empty Bigelow hand soap pump bottle because I really don’t like C&E’s slick plastic packaging. There’s always some Rainbath in our shower too – used infrequently but steadily, and we have gallons of it in reserve. My shampoo/conditioner line-up is KMS Tame Frizz and KMS Moist Repair, which work best if I don’t match them up — Tame Frizz shampoo works better with Moist Repair conditioner, and vice versa. My hairdresser agrees! And there’s no scented soap in there most of the time — I’ve been sticking with Basis soap because it rinses very clean, from skin and from the shower floor. My skin is happiest with Basis, but occasionally a Mediterraneo soap makes a brief appearance if I’m feeling indulgent. ?

Commando so far, but will spritz Paris-Deauville for a haircut appointment this morning. Happy weekend, all!

    Hello, lovely NST people!

It’s been a while, but I’m trying to adjust to this socializing somewhat with people again situation. I don’t know why that has affected me as far as visiting websites and blogs and commenting. It’s not you, it’s me, trust me.

Robin, since we’re both vaccinated now, do you want to meet up in King of Prussia sometime? As of 2019(?) they had a LUSH store. I don’t know what’s happened with the KIng of Prussia mall in the last couple of years. I know some stores in and around the Exton Mall closed. If you’d like to e-mail me, the address is neyronrose at gmail dot com.

I haven’t even updated my Goodreads entries on books that I’ve read and reviewed lately. A lot of that has been silly romances with werewolves and the “alpha/omega” trope, so it’s a little embarrassing. (LOL!) But I can’t deal with heavy reading in my fiction books.

For non-fiction, I’ve been reading my gardening books. The older books have some interesting insights into the “heirloom” flowers that I’m trying to grow.

In the shower, I just used up LUSH’s “Fair Trade Honey” shampoo, which is one reason I’d like to visit the store. 😉 Otherwise, I mostly just use Dove cucumber and green tea soap, one of the few scents that my mother can stand. Sometimes I use a little of the coffee-vanilla scrub that the talented Koyel made. 🙂 I have dozens of kinds of scented soap, and at least a dozen other shampoos and conditioners with floral or spice scents, not to mention floral-scented lotions, but those are a no-no here at home.

    Take care!

Neyronrose, I am vaccinated but also very worried about getting the delta variant. Have not been in a mall since before the pandemic, so do want to visit a Lush store but not sure I am ready!

Hope we can meet this fall, we’ll see how covid is looking in PA.

I started researching growing vegetables like tomatoes and peppers. My first sprouts just popped up!
It’s late in the season, but I thought I’d try it, see what happens. If I’m successful, perhaps I’ll try lettuces next. 🙂

Good to know you are well, neyronrose!

I enjoy reading about gardening even though I only have a balcony with highly unfavorable light for plants. I also enjoy seeing and gardens in my neighborhood. About a month ago I was sniffing every peony I could reach from the sidewalk and concluded that the idea of a peony note in fragrance is a bit absurd, given how much variation there is. Many were so-so, but I did encounter one that had the most wonderful slightly musky fragrance.

      Enjoy summer!

I love and need this poll!

Benjamin Soap Co. had a product that I’m desperate to replace — a body scrub made of sugar and some type of oil. It was incredibly moisturizing and the scent was juicy, Valencia oranges. Sadly they don’t make it anymore, but I did try their rose/lavender version of this which lacked the moisturizing component – it’s just scented sugar. So I’m on the hunt for a replacement!

Other loves and currently in rotation:
    – Rose Jam shower gel (we shall never part)
    – L’Occitane Almond Shower Oil (use more for smell and moisture, not a cleanser)
    – One With Nature Peppermint Dead Sea Mineral Soap (a solid, strong smelling peppermint body soap.. lasts and does the job well)
    – Aesop Geranium Leaf Body Scrub (splurge and worth it for the smell alone; scrub is meh)

SOTD: TBD; just up and enjoying a chill on the couch with coffee, but thinking I’ll do Rose 31 today

If you have to pick a ride-or-die shower gel, Rose Jam is a pretty good one to pick. I bought a bottle once, the 8-ounce size because anything more seemed so splurgily expensive and I couldn’t find a way to justify it. (And I’ll buy like four solid scents at a go, but shower gel is beyond the pale? I don’t know how my brain works.) I used it very sparingly and never bought another. Maybe one day. I have the body spray, anyway.

Yeah, it all depends. Shower gels I tend to use on days I’ve not been out and about and probably can skip the shower all together TBH. They are for a lighter wash.
Otherwise, I use the bar soaps, which means the more pricey products tend to last quite a long time for me 😉

I recently cleaned my shower of all the little bottles that I had in there but wasn’t using on a regular basis so it looks a bit barren at the moment! That being said I have Lush Nana shower gel (which thankfully for me does not smell like bananas but like their let the good times roll facial cleanser) and their incredibly minty Magic Crystal scrub. The scrub’s not for daily use but about once a week makes for a wonderful wintry blast in the middle of this hot summer. I also have a honey soap I cannot remember the brand name of that I buy from the fancy stationery shop downtown. It has such a beautiful aroma!

I have a feeling banana is probably just a hard smell to nail? Anything banana scented has never actually smelled like a banana to me. Kudos to you for finishing the bottle! I probably would have let it languish on a shelf in my bathroom for a couple of years before tossing it…

Hi, all – I’ve missed reading and posting the last few weeks but we’ve had guests, guests and then more guests. So this will be quick as we still have guests! And more in August. Somehow I’m managing to also work during this time, but I’m not managing much else.

I just finished my Lush Happy Hippy which I loved, and will repurchase eventually. At the moment, I am fairly obsessed with sea salt bar soaps – primarily for hands by the washbowl in my bathroom rather than in the shower. I have Pre de Provence, A La Maison de Provence (thanks pl67) and Swedish Dream Sea Salt soap and love them all.

    Happy weekend!

    Ciao everyone.
Having a great time drinking my chai with my in-laws.

For the farmers market, the tomatoes are starting to come and I am happy..

SOTD is two sprays of Ninfeo Mio and Jo Malone Mimosa and Cardamon. An interesting layer of scents.

I just finished reading Boyfriend Material. it was a light fun read, and I finished most of it while carrying out my jury duty service.

For the Shower Poll I am a creature of habit I have used the same shampoo/soap forever, so nothing of interest to report here.

For soap, this is embarrassing, I use caress bar soap and occasionally the rose one from L’occitane and Saforelle for my more intimate areas…Told you I was boring!

One bottle of Soap For Everyone in Citrus Mint, one of the very few scented body washes my husband can stand. (It’s almost impossible to find an unscented one that isn’t expensive and/or harsh: Soap For Everyone makes an unscented one but we tried it once and it has a vague industrial-chemical smell that I had to cover up with orange oil. This one does the job, and, being men, we use it as shampoo, too.)

One bottle of Nuxe Rêve de Miel Ultra-Rich Cleansing Gel For Face And Body, which I got on sale (I wouldn’t have paid full price!). I genuinely hated the scent of it at first, but eventually, since I was damned if I was going to throw it out, I got used to it. It smells sort of harsh and detergenty, but, I eventually conceded, in an interesting way.

One dish of Edwin Jagger shaving soap in Sandalwood, because I shave in the shower — the whiskers are basically copper wire and need a bit of a soak before they’ll consent to being hacked off without bloodshed. Shave cream and toothpaste are the only toiletries I ever splurge on.

And that is all. Today I’m wearing I Profumi di Firenze Limone di Sicilia concentrate, an intense blast of pure Italian sunshine. You can almost taste the yellowness. Doesn’t last long, but it’s heaven while it does.

That’s so funny about the Nuxe. I would have assumed it would smell so perfect that I’d never want to buy anything else. And that is exactly what is happening to me with Aveda Botanical Repair shampoo, which I guarantee I would have hated 10 years ago.

Shampoo: Honest orange vanilla. It also works as a body wash but I don’t use it for that since I’ve got something else at the moment.

Conditioner: Paul Mitchell lavender and tea tree oil

Face wash: Aveeno Calm + Restore I’ve developed rosacea since moving to New Mexico and this helps a little.

Body wash: B&BW Sunset Glow, which is delicious and caramelly.

Bath: I use either epsom salts or Bathing Culture bath salts. Let’s just say bubble bath and I unfortunately do not have a pleasant relationship!

SOTD: Alice and Peter Showy Toffee.

Bonnyhill face scrub in black tea and sugar. I would love a perfume like that: just black tea and sugar. Olay body wash in shea + lavender. And Herbal Essences shampoo and green tea + cucumber. Now I don’t use the conditioner because then my hair looks super oily. Would love to splurge on some after wash hair oil that would make my hair look shiny & beautiful.
SotD = Japanese Cherry Blossom body lotion and EdT.

I’m quite seasonal too, but for some reason I’ve managed to use my bath products year round ok. The Rose Jam I think of as more for colder months, so I do tend to reach for it a little less during summer, but I just go for long without it!

I like Rose Jam all year, but I have such an embarrassing bounty of bath and shower products perimeters must be set! ?

Winter for me is more rich vanilla, eggnog, spices, a fabulous cocoa orange from Philosophy, that Rose Jam gets lost in the mix.

Hi all, I have been absent for the last couple of weeks, because while moving heavy stuff around home and organizing the top of one of my closets, I slipped and fell from a ladder and badly hurt my lower back, neck and fracture my left ankle. I have been in severe pain that I am managing with muscle relaxers, pain killers and anti inflammatory pills. I should start physical therapy at the end of next week. Hope to start feeling better soon.

I stopped by because this is one of my favorite polls. I am going to enjoy reading everybody’s comments. Soap bars and gels is my second weakness after perfumes. I already lost count of how many I have. Currently in my shower:

    1. Pre de Provence Verbena soap bar.
    2. Sunaroma Peppermint soap bar.
    3. One with Nature Dead Sea Mud Mineral fragrance-free soap bar.
    4. B&BW Aromatherapy Tea Tree & Lavender shower gel.
    5. B&BW Aromatherapy Tea Tree & Lavender Essential Oil Mist, which I spray on after my shower before bedtime.
    6. B&BW Aromatherapy Eucalyptus & Tea Essential Oil Mist, also spray on after my shower at bedtime.

I am commando and hope to be back to my perfumes soon. Have a great weekend everyone! ?

My shower doesn’t have much. Gotta keep hives in check.
Bioderma shower oil is very gentle and a giant bottle lasts four months or more.
    Neutrogena unscented sesame body oil
Oribe shampoo for silver hair. It’s expensive but again, one bottle lasts about four months. Phyto detox for scalp. Gentle but gets products out of hair.
Using body glide under my bra has helped keep rashes down this summer.
So as I head to the shower after 11 delicious hours p, post shower will be Satori.

No Robin, it’s not. Purple shampoo was darkening my hair so Oribe had just come out with a collection for silver. It’s a creamy silvery blue that brightens. I have the conditioner too, but don’t use very often as my hair is a tiny pixie.
You can get at Sephora or online at Amazon. I love it.

Lately have been pretty loyal to Shikai’s Starfruit shower gel, as I find it non-drying.
Would love to hear from anyone who splurged on the recent Chanel limited edition No 5 bath products (don’t think I’ve ever tried a Chanel shower gel).
My fave shower gel so far from a perfume house is Piguet’s Fracas. It used to come in a screw top bottle which I found inconvenient, but now it’s on Piguet’s site in a squeeze tube.

I have officially broken up with the shampoo/conditioner routine, and now use Pura D’Or cleansing conditioner. It has totally changed my hair. It has a lovely rosemary tea tree scent.

I also still have a bottle of Avalon tea tree shampoo, which I only use about once a week.

Those, and a bar of Aegean camel milk soap, are all that’s in my shower.

With cleansing conditioners, they can be used everyday, but if you are super sweaty after a workout, just consider RiNSiNG your scalp and hair without additional product. Then use your styler.

Currently in my shower… first there’s the ‘always gotta have’ stuff:
    – Body Shop Olive shower gel
    – Lush Sleepy (I always have something lavender available, not usually Lush but Sleepy is pretty nice)

Then there’s the seasonal stuff, generally citrus scents in summer:
    – Lush Happy Hippy
    – L’Occitane Citrus Verbena
    – Fresh Senorita Margarita
    – Molton Brown Bursting Caju & Lime
    – Yes To Shower Cocktail Revitalizing (grapefruit / orange / kiwi)

Shampoo/conditioner is Pantene, those giant Costco bottles, whatever they have as long as it’s not the ‘moisturizing’ shampoo stuff that turns my hair into a sodden grease ball, yuck.

Shampoo and conditioner are mostly Klorane (I rotate thru a bunch of their scents since they no longer offer my two favorites, Magnolia leaf and Papyrus milk)
Deep conditioner mask is either Carol’s Daughter Monoi or Klorane Mango butter
Bar soaps are Crate 61 (sweet almond or lemongrass), Nova Scotia Fisherman (a variety), or Sugar Bubbles Bath Bakery (Annapolis Apple Blossom is a favorite)
Shower gel is usually Living Clean Monoi oil or Le Petit Marseillais Apricot and Hazelnut (which isn’t stocked locally anymore)

    Extra

My tomatoes just keep getting bigger but no riper, so I turned the water off and I am hoping the stress makes them red, as it’s past time for them to be ready to pick.

My shower looks mostly like the candy section of the grocery store: Snow Fairy shower gel and body conditioner; a small amount of Rose Jam (from a big bottle bought 3 years ago); egg-nog shower cream; a shower cream that smells a lot like Sleepy but from an inexpensive local brand; scrubee; Satsuma shower gel; Adriatic Peony (body shop shower gel).

What do I use the most? Dove soap…

I remain faithful to Fenjal, creamy shower gel and the creme Bath oil which I use exclusively when I take a bath.
Also shower gel in vanilla & raspberry by Original Source which I discovered when I moved to the UK (they have a great selection of scents) mango is also a favorite, one 100% kaolin soap from Provence and Dove soap. Also Fenjal body spray and The Natural Deodorant Lemon and Geranium. Shampoo is E45 dry scalp.

Reading all the comments, I’m realizing just how boring my bath and shower are! I use Dove Lavender soap, at my dermatologist’s recommendation, because my skin is so dry. I also use unscented sesame bath oil for the same reason (unscented because I don’t want to interfere with my SOTD!). But Portia suggested a wonderful use for the hair oil that came in many gift sets for SJP Stash — I don’t use it on my hair, I put a few drops in my bath with the unscented oil, in the evening. The whole bathroom smells wonderful.

My hair products for shower and bath are also very boring, but I might upgrade to some of the Zara Emotions products, as I like their scents a lot.

I’m a bit of a maximalist with regards to everything, but the urge to elaborate and complicate everywhere really does a number on how well I function. I realised I might NOT want a mega range to choose from every time I want to wash…

My shower currently has Herbal Essences shampoo and conditioner (the original one with the green cap), BBW Butterfly Showers, Vanilla Bean Noel, Aromatherapy Black Chamomile and Dark Kiss shower gels, BBW Coco Shea body scrub, and Cleen Beauty Acai facial scrub (from Walmart, very nice). Usually use either Dove unscented soap or a goat’s milk soap from the farmer’s market on my face.
SOTD so far is Scents of Wood Plum in Cognac (thank you, H!). Will probably switch to something lighter later since it’s really hot here today.

Rainbath. That’s it, summer, fall, winter, spring. Yep, I’m boring like that, but I love it, and it works for everyone in the family. My college daughter even loves it so much that I send some with her to school. I get the biggest size at Nordstrom rack which seems to always stock it. Shampoo and conditioner currently is Kenra volumizing formula in the big size from Ulta.

Holy cow, it’s hot here!? Not complaining though because the sun is out and it’s gorgeous. Started the day in Assam of India. Ran some errands and that has faded so now I’m in Chanel Biarritz. So pretty.

In non-smelly news, we got a camp postcard from madtownteen today that said she’s having a great time. She leaves today for a week of canoeing and setting up campsites each night. I hope she has good weather. I texted my college daughter a couple of days ago to see how it’s going. She’s there as camp staff. She texted me back “I’m having the time of my life”❣️ So happy for them both.
The painters started on our house yesterday! Excited to see the transformation, but feel bad for the painters, the weather forecast looks like some real scorchers are coming up.

Wait, never mind. I know why. It’s because last summer was so stinky for the young.

These are in rotation for summer… Yves Rocher Grapefruit Thyme Shower Gel (which I think is discontinued grrrrrr…), Pacha Dirty Hippy soap, a very small bar of L’Occitane Mandarine Verveine soap, Korres Olive Pomegranate Shower Gel and Olive Blossom Shower Gel, escents “Wash and Bubble” in the Rejuvenating scent which is grapefruit and bergamot – I would use anything with that scent from their line, it’s so good – they are a company based in BC, Canada. Last of all a big bottle of Crabtree & Evelyn Avocado Oil Bath and Shower gel before they disappeared and came back all “reblanded”… can I get another grrrrrrrr? I loved their Aloe Vera scented products too. ?

I go kind of high and low in my shower. Le Labo Mandarin shower gel (thank you Nordies notes), B&BW Grapefruit Froze’ shower gel, B&BW Warm Vanilla Sugar moisturizing body wash, Necessaire Bergamot body wash (thanks to springpansy and the swapmeet), Pantene Hair Volume Multiplier shampoo and conditioner, Garnier Fructis plumping treatment mask, Clinique Pep Start 2 in 1 exfoliating cleanser, St. Ives avocado facial scrub.

I usually have the Shikai Yuzu shower gel in the rotation, but will wait to get more of it, since I went on a B&BW bender recently.

SOTD was Zoologist Musk Deer in the morning – very much like Musc Ravageur. Ran a couple of errands and tried on clothes at Target. The dressing room was oppressively hot, so I didn’t tarry. Spritzed some Mandarine Basilic when I got home. ?

Did not see this poll coming, and just happened to shower today with Viva La Juicy shower gel, from a Plato’s Closet trip. It is that fresh musk while in use, and then *poof* nothing to smell here, folks. I followed up with SotD Champs Elysees Extrait. I am intrigued with all the Lush fan reports, and want to follow up. However, I am sure I will be sticking with my Dove Sensitive Skin bar soap. Mr. Mossy is sensitive to many soaps, and not a user of fragrance, so I just go with the flow.

We have a tiny house with one bathroom so my husband and I share everything. In the summer it’s all about Dr Bronners liquid peppermint soap, it’s been that way for years. There’s just nothing better than coming home on a hot sweaty day and having a cool peppermint shower, ahhh. He uses Tree Hut sugar scrubs in different scents, right now it’s lemon/blueberry. I use Olay in shower body conditioner (used to just be called lotion) and I’m not sure what scent it is. Pantene shampoo and conditioner and a bar of local soap from soapygnome.com, Rock Star, a salt and patchouli soap. I just bought their new avacado soap and I’ll be using it on my face.

My other staples are Shikai Yuzu and Sandalwood shower gel.

I just can’t justify the prices for a Lush bath bomb for one bath.Too much pressure! I usually broke them in half to get 2 baths from one of them, but then went to the bubble bars where it was easier to get multiple baths from one bar.The shower gels last much longer and I can use them in the shower or the bath.
The Lush price increases have definitely influenced the products I buy from them now.

    Oooh my favorite poll question!

    In the shower:
    Lush Flying Fox Shower Gel
    Korres Japanese Rose Shower Gel
Savon Orizia (Orizia L. Legrand soap line) Verveine de Venus bar soap
Formulary 55 Narcissus bar soap was just finished today and the Orizia just replaced it
Giovanni Smooth as Silk Deep Moisture Shampoo. It smells like the old Sunny D drink. Do they still make that?!
Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine Fortifying Shampoo
Love Beauty & Planet Delightful Charcoal & Bergamot Delightful Detox Conditioner
Carol’s Daughter Monoi Intense Repair Rinse Out Treatment
Skintimate Coconut Delight shaving gel, smells like B&BW Coconut Lime Verbena

Coming up soon because my shower gels are almost finished:
    Lush Happy Hippy shower gel
L’Erbolario Accordo Arancio shower gel (mandarin, bitter orange, Chinese lantern)

Wearing Arquiste Boutonniere tonight in honor of the little row of gardenia bushes I just found in my neighborhood. Talk about a heavenly smell. I might take be sneaky and snip one soon hehe. They’re in front of a large condo building and are pretty plentiful so I wouldn’t feel bad.

Took a walk with the boyfriend this afternoon, as we usually do on Saturdays, and we ate some insanely tasty tacos for lunch at a new-to-us restaurant. It was a perfect day to eat outside and drink a cucumber mule. Wore some 4711 Lemon & Ginger body spray.

Some years ago I found a bottle of their Provence-scented shower gel for dirt cheap, and I adored that scent. I think it’s the same as the Soothing Provence scent which is now on their website; it was very citrusy. I might have to buy some to compare ;). I’ve also tried their rose geranium shower gel, which was also good. I sound like an ad, but I have no affiliation!

My parents are coming home from California Tuesday night and it’s going to be some cleaning projects that need to get done before they come home. All of my packages arrived by Friday and most of the evidence (packages) are dealt with.

I have tons of bath and body products and most of it is Amouage. Epic, Lyric, Memoir, Honour and Dia. Chanel is no 5 and Coco Mademoiselle and BBW Cucumber Melon. Most of the time I use Dove bar soap.

    In my shower:
    • The Unscented Company solid bar shampoo and conditioner
    • Uriage Xemose oil wash (close cousin to the Bioderma body oil that everyone loves here and that I usually use)
Sadly that is it! Getting product envy looking at everyone’s lists.

As well I have typically lived in cities with hard water so have been a bit leery of soap products, but just got some lovely info from a soap maker on what ingredients can make it more suitable!

Apparently if the soap has EDTA or sodium citrate (chelators) included, that will solve soap residue/scum issues if you live where the water is crunchy like me!

Layered Byredo Gypsy Water oil perfume with MFK APOM pour Femme today, and it’s a glorious combo.

I am manifesting 17 pounds gone all gained during covid.
A massage later today and some time on my inside bike. I can do this.
SOTD Trish MCEvoy mandarin and ginger lily, a perennial favorite for summer.

I’m very impressed with everyone’s bathroom products collections.

My looks like nothing at all:
    – Ormonde Jayne Ta’if shower gel that lost its fragrance but still works.
    – Last drops of Annick Goutal Musc Nomade shower gel. It still smells divine, I’ll be sad when it’s gone.
    – Caswell Massey Sandalwood soap-on-a-rope. This is my third bar, and I’ll be getting the next one soon.
    – Living Proof Full Shampoo and Conditioner
    – Oribe Gold Lust Shampoo and Conditioner

It was interesting to see how different everyone’s tastes are. But it looks like I’ll be getting the leading favorite (by the number of mentions) – Shiksi Yuzu.

I give up trying to fight my autocorrect for the brand name of that Yuzu gel – I didn’t know all those variations it tried to change it to existed as words!

You can buy ShiKai Yuzu by the gallon and when I see one, which is rare, that’s what I get.

I do have some of the Rose Jam sg , some coconut strawberry soap and rose soap(Yardley for a buck each)..rose spray..a box Youth Dew Powder is in there somewhere. I had some rose body butter from Natrual Grocers..but odd..the scent wore off and now is just an unscented lotion! Smh. Coconut dental floss haha..some Penhaligons Lavendula cream what’s left of it——did they discontinue Lavendula?! Tragic. I have a creamsicle type of scented sun block or at least it smells like that to me lol..Nivea cream cause it smells amazing. Some Wild Madagascar BBW perfume spray which was given to me..but it’s just used as a room spray lol. Also some Mad About You BBW spray..not used much. That sums it up! I have no excuse to smell bad lol

I’m going to make a wild guess and say CocoFloss. I have it in coconut and strawberry. It’s nice flat unwaxed floss that doesn’t shred.
At one point they had a 3 pc set called Neapolitan that had vanilla, strawberry and cocoa reels. I would have bought that in a heartbeat if I wasn’t already set.

Very late to the poll, but I was traveling yesterday and settling into my home earlier today.

Shower gels: Rose Jam, Bathing Culture’s gel (favorite shower gel ever, even beating Tramp) and Beauty Pie Super Healthy Skin (smells like oranges)

Scrub: Ouai scalp and body scrub

    Lotion: Dream Cream

Body Oil: Bathing Culture’s, Aesop Breathless, Manifest by Provision Scent

Hair (mixed ip because I’m trying to use stuff up): Kevin Murphy Angel Wash shampoo, Dae conditioner, Bread Hair Oil, Kevin Murphy Killer Curls, Dry Bar Whiskey Fix hair paste

SOTD is Pacifico by Snif. Blind bought based on notes and it’s an absolute winner. I actually just looked to see if I could get a backup bottle, but it’s sold out. So happy I went for the gamble.

    Korres Fig
    Biagiotti Roma
    Truth or Dare

Moist Diane japanese shampoo for dry hair

I’m wowed by everyone’s collections, so varied and impressive! My list is simple in comparison. I have some Molton Brown Orange and Bergamot shower gel (a gift), some Lush hand soap that I don’t know what the flavor is ?, but it’s pink in a little flat slice like out of a roll cake with a red rind (?), and lacks much scent (another gift), plus regular white Dial soap for the shower and Mrs Meyer’s lavender soap for hand washing. John Frieda No-Frizz shampoo plus one of his silver shampoos (purple stuff). I feel kind of Spartan compared to other people! My SOTD is from my newly acquired FB (last week), Acqua di Parma Bergamotto di Calabria, in the exquisite ceramic blue bottle with gold and white floral decorations on it. I succumbed to the lure of the beautiful bottle–the scent is nice too especially for summer. I keep forgetting to take and post a picture of it.

I’m in Mandarine Basilic again today, but layered Vetiver of Haiti from The 7 Virtues on top as an experiment. Zara Vetiver Pamplemousse is on my radar for some reason, so this is probably close enough!
I hope everyone is having a great weekend. Dog park for us this evening when it cools off. I made peanut butter rice krispie treats because I can and might take some to the dp for the two leggeds.

I just dropped by to say that I found a US store/website that carries Perfumer H (Lynn Harris’s own line)!

    https://www.tiinathestore.com/collections/beauty

The actual shop is in Amagansett, New York, in you’re anywhere near there.

The beautiful handblown glass bottles are expensive, but the 50-ml size is fairly affordable.

They don’t offer samples on the website, but I plan to contact them and ask.

Chiming in late, getting some great ideas, just what I need at the moment.
I’m a bit thin on the ground; my favourites for summer are Roger and gallet Bois de Orange shower gel, Lush Happy Hippy, which I also need to restock on, and Rose Jam. I’m going to get another scented bar soap from National trust shop soon, they are beautifully scented and moisturising. The rhubarb one is gorgeous.
