Lancôme has launched Idôle Aura, a new "radiant floral" flanker to the 2019 Idôle fragrance for women.

“Radiant floral” sounds like code for “instant headache.”

Ah, to me it just sounds like code for solar notes…

The first one was very boring to me and was too much like Tresor In Love. I actually like this bottle but probably can’t get past the scent. Lancome is another line that went from love to meh. I loved Poeme, the original Tresor..one of the Hypnoses and enjoyed Magnifique. I have not liked much at all from them for a while and may never forgive them for releasing La Vie Est Belle lol. Probably the most dislike I have ever had for a perfume. For it to be a smash hit..made it much worse lolol.

I’m surprised they are using aura, the name of a Mugler perfume, but I guess combined with idole it gets past the lawyers. In any event, no interest in the perfume… the only decent things Lancome have released in years were the Maison Lancome high end ones, which I think are discontinued (Jasmins Marzipane, Lavande Trianon, etc.)
