Salvatore Ferragamo Giardini di Seta, Giungle di Seta, Savane di Seta & Oceani di Seta ~ new fragrances

Posted by Robin on 8 April 2021 3 Comments

Salvatore Ferragamo has launched Storie di Seta, a new quartet of unisex, layerable fragrances.  Giardini di Seta, Giungle di Seta, Savane di Seta and Oceani di Seta were inspired by the brand's designs in silk.

The four fragrances are united by Filo di Seta. This exclusive accord, created in collaboration with perfumers Emilie Coppermann and Aliénor Massenet of Symrise, lingers at the base of each fragrance and makes it unique but open to layering with one, two or three others to create a personal olfactory blend.

Lilybelle is created from orange peel through a sustainable extraction process. Timut pepper, with its beloved, floral, pink grapefruit and yuzu notes, comes from fair trade farms. Neo Soie Velours de Laire evokes silk sensation and links Salvatore Ferragamo's new collection to the centuries-old tradition of high perfumery

Giardini di Seta ~ "Vibrant and luminous, Giardini di Seta is born to surprise. The sweet-and-sour freshness of rhubarb unveils a red and pink heart of Sakura Flower, which blends harmoniously with the woody notes of Madagascar vetiver. The first, fascinating Storia di Seta by Salvatore Ferragamo opens the gates to the hidden gardens of fantasy."

Giungle di Seta ~ "Salvatore Ferragamo's new floral green eau de parfum exudes a refreshing burst of exotic flora. The luminous soul of musk elevates the crunchy twist of Green Pea in a captivating contrast with the heart of velvety Peony Blossoms. Giungle di Seta is a vibrant and overwhelming experience, a tear that leads on a wild jungle."

Savane di Seta ~ "Sunny and energetic, Savane di Seta is a fragrance that rediscovers unique sunlit lands. The soft undertones of Indian Sandalwood envelop a surprising Carrot Accord and a powdery heart of Orris, evoking mysterious landscapes. Ferragamo's new eau de parfum is a compelling and faceted story ready to be discovered."

Oceani di Seta ~ "Salvatore Ferragamo's new olfactory story evokes a unique portrait of the depths of the ocean, transparent and brilliant. Floating waves flow in a zesty Salty Accord that unveils the pure heart of Magnolia petals, sublimed by soft notes of Heliotrope. This is Oceani di Seta—an underwater paradise in one's hand."

Ferragamo Giardini di Seta, Giungle di Seta, Savane di Seta and Oceani di Seta are available in 100 ml Eau de Parfum, €98 each.

Well, dang. These all sound pretty good to me, with the possible exception of the Oceani. The bottles are cute. I’d like a set of them, 15mls each if you please?

Yes, a coffret of travel sizes is what they need to do!
