Not sure how appropriate it is having actual children 7 seconds in…

It’s particularly marketed as a fragrance for children as well from what I understand.

I tend to feel like all advertising aimed at kids is just creepy as a general default, so *shrug* but there are many fragrances aimed at that sector of the market.

And sheesh, even writing that as though they’re “a market demographic” and not, you know, little humans that need to be sheltered from overt manipulation by agencies aimed at maximizing profit, makes me feel squicky…

Yes… it’s awful. Not to mention other harmful advertising from the food industry pushing ultra processed food products to children! And passing them off as healthy. There goes public health. That is still allowed in Spain where I am from… makes me very upset.

Agree about that, but this ad also features young people without shirts making it particularly inappropriate?

At least they did not appear to do a separate ad for the kid’s scent, This is Me.

i Thought it might be better if there was a separate ad for the children’s one. Here you have kids appearing with teens and ‘young adults’ and shirtless people – presumably in late teens or 20s. The age groups sort of blend with the ‘older’ ones more overtly sexualised ??‍♀️

That is true, I withdraw my statement. Although still glad they didn’t do an ad for the kids…they just should have left them out of this ad.

“Forever young.” Yeah, I thought I would be, too. And then (if you are fortunate), you wake up one day and you are being offered the senior citizen discount.
