We’re expecting snow to roll in later today. I’m countering with a spritz of high summer — Parfum d’Empire Azemour Les Orangers.

Garnier introduced their organic skincare line, Garnier Bio, in 2019, but it still isn't officially distributed in the US and I have no idea if there are plans. If it ever gets here, my two top wishes: the Orange Blossom Micellar Water (£6.99 at Super Drug) and the Organic Lemongrass Gel Wash ($8 at Look Fantastic), both of which you can find in Canada, or really nearly anywhere but here. There are also Melissa and Cornflower Micellar Waters, a Thyme Toner, Lavandin Eye Cream, Lemongrass moisturizer, Argan Mist, and more.

It’s Tuesday, plus Bill of Rights Day, National Cupcake Day and the sixth night of Hanukkah. A belated RIP for Charley Pride and John le Carré. What fragrance are you wearing?

They actually make the hairs on my neck stand up

It would be a sticky vanilla, the smell of people’s breath when they’re smoking. I can’t bear that smell, and I can’t bear the smell of wet washing once it has dried and it’s gone stale. Those three together would be the worst smell. They actually make the hairs on my neck stand up.
